Sequatchie Cove Farm is hands-down one of the best places to buy real local food near Chattanooga. Just under an hour away, this organic farm offers everything from sweet corn and vine-ripened tomatoes to grass-fed lamb, chicken, pork, and beef. And their pasture-raised eggs? The best I’ve ever had — rich, flavorful, and nothing like store-bought. Knowing that over 5,000 hens roam freely in the pastures, protected by loyal farm dogs, makes every dozen feel even more special. You can tell the farmers here put their heart into everything they grow and raise. We’re so thankful to have a place like this to source clean, nutrient-rich food from people who truly care. Worth the trip every single time!
We stopped to pick up some cheese from Sequatchie Cove creamery. The farmers were helpful and had plenty of local eggs and pork chops.
The trading post on the farm has the best food. I know that the meat is raised responsibly, and the veggies, eggs and cheese are great quality. The people are wonderful and the farm is beautiful.

I have been to classes here as well as purchased produce and meat from the Keener family. They have excellent practices surrounding the work they do and are wonderful humans as well.
