This is absolutely the best place for high-quality meat! They offer real, unadulterated cuts with no added coloring or saltwater injections. The meat is vacuum-packed, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The service is friendly and fast, with a great variety of cuts to choose from. The facility is clean, and on some days, you can watch skilled butchers at work through the large window. They also stock delicious rubs, spices, and my favorite cheese-filled pepperoni snack sticks, plus local eggs, sausages, and other specialty products. Truly second to none! I am not local to the area. I have a family member that picks up their meat from a local farmers market. I find the steaks of incredibly high value and very tasty. If and when I am in the area I will be stopping and loading up. I drove over an hour one way just to come. Check them out you won’t be disappointed.

Love the meat here. The hotdogs are some of the best we have ever had. Enjoyed the cube steaks, brats, beefstew and everything we got there.

I will always prefer local stores like this over the mass production/grocery store meat experience. Quality meat and great selections at this market. Especially the bacon.

When we bought our house in Romulus a little over two years ago, Sue Schrader was the first person we met. We went to the meat market to grab some stuff for our first meal in the new house. Sue was extremely friendly, the meat was really good quality, and the prices were extremely fair. We shop there every week now and have never been disappointed with the quality of the products or the quality of service. We couldn't be happier to have such a nice meat market and such nice neighbors.

I grew up and still live in Queens NY but have been hunting and vacationing in Hector NY for most of life. Only until now did I discover Schrader Farms in Romulus and so happy I did. I visited them my last trip up to buy and sample some steaks and roasts. It is hands down the best beef I’ve ever had. Once I enjoyed a few more of the steaks and burgers I had purchased from there meat market I ordered a whole cow to split with my uncle. The store and shop is immaculate and dealing with Sue and Chris was a pleasure. Wouldn’t think twice about recommending them to anyone I know. I’m also very proud to be able to support businesses in the finger lakes region any chance I can. God Bless and keep up the great work.
