Schott's Meat Market

Great meat market. My husband likes to try new meats and always gets the snack sticks chile and beef jerky. I’ve even purchased strawberry preserves to make homemade pop tarts. Always a fantastic selection and helpful staff.

Way too much to list about what I like here at this place. I mainly go there for the dry sausage, venison sticks. I don’t visit a lot of meat markets but this location is very well stocked with a variety of choices. Can be on the pricey side but it depends on what you’re looking for and willing to pay. The quality of products is unquestionably good and consistent.

Nice, clean, friendly shop. You're greeted and attended to upon entry and their choices are exceptional. Prices are market comparable, but can be a bit pricey on the quality cuts. Definitely prime choice cuts but there is an acquired taste you must have for their unique marinade. Chicken and pork run alongside market value from other grocery stores but beef and custom mixes as well are on the higher market end.

Delicious jerky!!!! This one in particular is great if you like your dry meat 😉 with some heat and an aggressive spice profile. My go to for sure! Sorry but Dziuks jerky is overrated in my opinion. …

Almost $70 for these little tiny lamb chops is ridiculous! I was recommended by a friend who spoke highly of Schotts but I will not be returning!

We've been going to Schott's Meat Market for years mostly for their great meat quality, affordable prices and their friendly staff. Today we were surprised by the price hike and while asking why is everything more expensive we were literally wished better luck at HEB by one of the employees. We put everything back on shelves and went to HEB instead. We will not return to Schotts after this.

I just wanted to give these guys their deserved props! I have been hunting all my life out of Louisiana and decided to hunt something besides Whitetail! I killed an Axis and an Orxy in January 2025! Now I know these two animals are by far better meat but man this meat is good! They helped me figure out what I wanted and gave me stuff to try! This is by far in all my years the best meat house I’ve ever used. They have me asking what the heck my meat house in Louisiana is doing. I got so much meat back and to be honest I will not use anyone else. The meat is that good!! Thank y’all so much for the help getting it home and working with me. Wow what a meat processor! Awesome job guys you should be proud!!

My husband and two boys have been coming here for over a year, and we’ve truly never had a bad experience. Everyone is always so kind, friendly, and willing to help or answer any questions. The meat is consistently next level—our entire family loves the wagyu fajita meat. It’s a go-to favorite in our house, along with the queso! There are so many other staples we always pick up, including the chocolate chip cookies and jerky—we rarely make it out of the parking lot without having a bite. We’ve also stocked our freezer with their big packages of grass-fed beef, and you can absolutely taste the difference in freshness and flavor. Schott’s is a gem and a must-visit if you care about high-quality meat and great service.

This place has the best meat! We ordered half a cow from here, and it’s been great quality and delicious. We also love the big variety of handmade jalapeño poppers, and our dog loves the smoked dog bones.

Schott's has a great quality selection of meat and butcher's available for select meats. Affordable and has exotic Wagyu/Akaushi Beef Steaks. The marbling is superb and the cattle has a unique fat called mono-saturated meaning it is much cleaner than the opposite, poly-saturated. The chicken is great, the stuffed mushrooms are amazing if you don't want pork. The bacon asparagus is absolutely delicious. As well as there arrangements of poppers. If you didn't know or are skeptical about pricing, there is no harm to just stopping by and seeing what's available!
