I visited the Farm in March 2023 at meet Eric, he took us a tour around the farm and saw the grass feed jersey cows, all neutral feed chickens and Hogs . Let’s say I was impressed with how he manages all of the operations yet keeping it simple and natural without using any chemicals or enhancers to help in the process

We have been customers of their monthly subscription for 7 months now and absolutely love it. The variety of cuts of pork, beef, and chicken have been great and the meat quality is the best that we have ever had! The monthly subscription has made me a more adventures cook. Eric has been great with special requests that we have had and we look forward to seeing what is in our delivery every month!

I grew up in Germany, and recently moved here from Chicago. Both had amazingly authentic bratwurst, of course. So, when I first approached the Sauer Family booth, at the Raleigh Farmer's Market, I didn't have high hopes for finding authentic-tasting brats. However, bought a pack, cut it up with cabbage, vidalia onions, and sweet red peppers (also from the farmer's market), and baked it, all together. I cannot tell you what an amazing flavor these brats have! My tastebuds were so happy that I ate a little at a time, and savored it over the next couple of days. I'll definitely be back for more of the Sauer Family Farm's bratwurst! So delicious!

Truly the finest tasting farmed meat I've ever tasted. Humanely raised meat using 100% sustainable methods that makes the food healthier and actually invigorates the soil used for pasture. This is absolutely the future of farming for environmental stability and healthier food options for the general public. Our current health care pandemic can be mitigated to a large degree from this model of farming from our food growers at a massive savings to the taxpayers on food related health issues that continue to plague our system and seem to only be growing yearly.

Wow!!! The meat I purchase from Sauer family farms with some of the best meat that I've had ever in my whole life. And they delivered to North Raleigh for free - awesome! I'm on the Keto diet so grass-fed meat is extremely important to me as well as knowing where this meet is coming from so when I purchased my or meat from Sauer family farms I felt confident knowing that the animals were loved and that they were treated with great care and great respect the meat was so good it was so delicious!!¡! Weird fact - the meat smelled so good - know that's weird to say but so true!!!! We ordered pork chops pork ribs bone in ribeye filet mignon bacon and I can't remember what else we will definitely be ordering again soon! :)

Absolutely amazing products and such an easy purchase experience. Eric is so informative and very on top of making sure you get the best experience possible! I can’t recommend this small farm enough! Supporting small farms is so vital and supporting great people such as the sauers makes it even better! If you want great meat and fantastic service definitely give them a try, you won’t have any regrets

Super convenient and some of the best-tasting meat you've ever had. If you haven't tried a CSA, I strongly recommend it, starting right here. I do a recurring monthly shipment that comes straight to my door. As a plus, the packaging is biodegradable.

We've been buying nearly 100% of our pork and beef from Eric for about a year now. Quality is excellent, and the pork flavor is exceptional.

Amazingly fresh meat and I love the home delivery! I have shared with many family and friends, in hopes of continuing support for this local farm.
