Our friends recently introduced us to this spot, specifically for their hotdogs and it was an instant ‘add to starred places on the map and plan your next visit’ type of favorite! Folks working here are really nice, friendly and informative. We can’t wait to bring shopping bags and load up on some good meat cuts and of course, the hot dogs!
I love supporting small businesses in the neighborhood, and I don’t mind paying a bit more for butcher services and the ability to get the exact amount of meat I need. But that said, $17/lb for raw pork ribs is a little too much. I can’t remember the old prices but they apparently increased their prices pretty substantially because I always get the same amount of ribs and the final sticker price doubled.
Love this butcher. They also have incredibly sandwiches. They were a bit pricy, but the quality and size was well worth it. Ended up having it for 2 meals. Staff is always friendly, helpful, and just seems like a great crew. Both the meatball and salami sandwiches were unreal.
This place is my go-to in SF. Meat quality is incredible and their sandwiches are such a hidden gem (salami sandwich pictured). Have never had anything bad from here and all the employees are knowledgeable and friendly.
Super cool selection! Highest grade possible products from steaks to sausages. Even the beer selection here is legit. Shout out to Mekesh who steered me in the right direction of some tasty purchases (And also has amazing taste in baby names ;)
I was looking for three plate beef ribs. Had gone to all the other Butcher shops and they did not carry it. This was my last stop and the only stop staff was friendly got me in and out very quickly and purchased a hotdog on the way out, which was absolutely delicious! Can’t beat the service or the quality! Definitely coming back!
It was a very clean neat place with a large amount of meat to be buthered if you needed it no oxtails I was disappointed in that yet overall it was good oh they didn't except food stamps 😞 but I had cash on hand for the oxtails anyway …
Great service, for example they didn't have Korean short ribs on display, so they cut some up for me right then and there. Also prices are very reasonable for the quality.
Fantastic sandwiches, awesome deli selection. High quality neighborhood butcher for charcuterie or meat needs. Love their sandwiches.
