My grandmother started buying groceries from Roy about 50 years ago when he first opened. He still has the best personalized old time service and the best meat. Their fresh sausage is the best in the world. When we were camping years ago we had some old Texas sausage aficionados try it and they agreed. This is not a fancy place, just simple country folk making an honest living. I highly recommend this small family business. And they are adhering to the new strict health and safety guidelines as well. FYI-we are not related.

I visited Roy's this past weekend after just a few weeks back moving to the area. I was looking for a great butcher shop for good quality meats. This place is a great down home, jewel of a find. Friendly people working there and highly recommended. As a bonus I had Roy himself sliced me up a nice steak. And when I say nice, I mean unbelievably delicious. The value was beyond the price paid a bar none! And I forgot about the sausage everybody raves about.... Guess I need to make another run over to Roy's sooner than later. Keep up the great work guys. .

Im so very happy that we found a local butcher shop. The meat is fresh and well priced. So much better than the selection at the grocery stores!

My husband and I love Roy's. We take the trip to Roy's every other week and load up our cooler with goodies. The prices are a little higher than the grocery store, but the quality is superb! If you decide to check out this hidden gem, you must try their handmade sausage! And if you are lucky, the sweet old lady will be out front selling her delicious pumpkin bread! Five Stars!

Quality meat, limited variety in the case, though. Small, local, family owned business. Very helpful and accommodating folks. Little pricey but everything is these days and everything I've had is cut well. Wish there was more variety like more cuts- brisket, sirloin, London broil, flank, etc...

Decided to try this place based on reviews and they did not disappoint, it did feel a little intimidating going in since there's no prices or labels so I kinda felt like a bother but the guy helping was patient and sweet, the bacon is absolutely fantastic and melts in your mouth. Their smoked sausage is out of this world best I've ever had! I won't be picking up meat anywhere else but here!! Can't wait to dig into the rest!

Excellent fresh meat. Love the bacon, better than anything I've had. Also carry grown potatoes and sweet potatoes, along with local raw honey.

I drive 40 mins to this shop for ground beef and steaks. Quality is unsurpassed. Ive been advised that I cant freeze the meat in their packaging and now that I understand why Im thankful they told me that so I didnt waste my money. Service is always friendly, may not always be fast, but that's okay as I understand the quality of their meat and the customer following they have. I highly recommend this meat market and will continue to drive the extra miles for the quality and supporting small business

This was my first time here and I purchased Ribeyes, NY Strips, Sirloin, and bacon. The bacon was very good but the steaks were outstanding. I don't think I will ever eat a steak from anywhere else. Best one I have ever had.

This is Kayleigh posting under my husbands account. Went this weekend and had the BEST steak I’ve ever had. Tastes like steak did when I was growing up & my grandma went to the meat market. Mr. Roy his employees and his wife are the sweetest. Will never buy meat anywhere else again!

Everything I've gotten from Roy's has been spectacular. As others have said the sausage is fantastic. Ribeyes cut right in front of you to the thickness you desire. I decided to make homemade pizza with Roy's hot sausage and well, it's ridiculously good. You can't go wrong here.

I will NEVER buy my meat from anyone else. If you have not been here you are missing out. Fresh and packaged as you order. YUMMY!
