I got their chicken dinner. The chicken is roasted, I think. It is super juicy and tender with soft, succulent skin. The seasoning is really good. It came with a baked potato and green beans, not bad.

I love to stop there on way home from Toledo. Always pick up a dozen wings and have them tipped and split. Air fryer and barbecue sauce and they're special.

I recently shared and commented on a job posting they posted on Facebook hiring employees for $13 with a 5 million revenue and they BLOCKED ME basically for something THEY SAID! OVERPRICED FOOD & VERY LOW WAGES!

Everything was great. Chicken breasts, chicken salad, potato salad and the ham salad were all delicious.

We passed this place a few times and finally went in just before closing. The staff were friendly and didnt rush us despite closing shortly after. We recently made a meal with their chicken and will be back for more.

LOVE this place. They have lunch available daily, good deals on foods AND they always have boxes if you're in need of them!

Born in Fremont and moved away young. Mom always talked about Roots chicken so when I found myself driving near Fremont on the way back to Georgia I had to get several pound to put in the cooler and surprise her. My wife and I had a sandwich while we were there and it was delicious. I see why mom talked about it so fondly. Thanks for the outstanding service from some out of towners!

I received a gift card for Christmas and decided to order their ribs and came home to BBQ covered rubber. So I loaded up my 5 mth old and went back to get a refund. I received no apology for the inconvenience nor did I receive an exchange for a fresh batch of ribs. Instead I was met with indifference and made to feel like I was a bothersome customer for interrupting their time to gossip behind the counter. This was my first time being at Roots and it's disappointing that they treat their customers like this.

I bought the frozen BBQ chk, I didn't care for it. I bought hard Salami, that was good.

I love the variety of products here. The staff was nice and helpful as well.

Bought the bbq ribs today. 12.99 per lb. So overdone n dried out. Really? Who would even sell these? Let alone, eat them. They were so bad. Potato salad had nothing other than potatoes n mayo. Don't waste your $$

I called in an order of chicken noodle soup to ship to a friend with COVID-19. My order delivered to her house next day. The Root's Poultry staff is friendly & efficient. My experience was great with Root's Poultry. This is an awesome gift to give when you can't be there in person.

I usually love everything from Roots especially the soups. The hot wings to go are a joke. They were dry and overcooked. Could not believe it. Waste of money. But will keep going to Roots except for the wings.
