Rod is a fantastic fellow. He greeted me as I entered and got right to cutting meat custom for me. Heck of a guy! 10/10 My go to local meat shop. Used to be sisters smokehouse, but Rods meat is just better!

Finally a place that sells quality meat and takes EBT. They were so friendly and the deals that they have are worth going to see them. It's an actual butcher shop that has local meat. Trust me, go see them and ask about their meat packages, there is something for everyone. Wish they sold eggs though.

Had a very good experience, and the guy did fresh cuts of meat that were not in the case. I purchased hot dogs, pork steak, porter house, chicken thighs and beef short ribs, all we're delicious. I would recommend and return in the future.

We have been into Rod's shop 2 times in the last 3 days. The bacon was the best bacon I have ever had. Tonight we cooked up the Pork Roast we had bought 2 days ago and it was some of the best meat I have ever had. Rod is super nice and extremely knowledgeable, and his prices are really reasonable. If you are in need of some great quality meats, stop on in and see Rod, he will take great care of you!

What an amazing gem for truly quality meat in central Oregon! Outstanding service and knowledgeable experience represented by a kind, patient expert. All cuts are just exceptional. Rod’s offerings outside the grocery store usuals are to die for. Never experienced such culinary stars as his mouthwatering pub burgers, moist, flavorful art pieces. His blueberry maple sausages have been devoured at morning breakfasts and enjoyed by visiting guests with gusto. Deliciousness does not fully describe the mouth watering steaks, pork, etc. Best ever moist flavor explosion from all his beef sticks and jerkies! So grateful to Rod for making cooking and grilling fun and inspirational again!

We absolutely LOVE this place! The budget box is such an awesome thing for our family and all the meat is always TOP tier! Ground beef used to make me sick until we started buying his! Amazing guys that work there and can't beat the prices for locally sourced meat! They even take EBT. I can't think of enough nice things to say about this place. Definitely a little gem in Redmond!

Rod is always a pleasure to do business with. He's knowledgeable, makes great recommendations, and prioritizes quality over quantity ($). In other words, he cuts off the gristle/nasty stuff even if that means he makes less on the cut. It's nice to actually get what you pay for! Well worth the visit.

I usually go to Sisters Meats or Cinder Butte, and let me tell you right now, Rod's has them beat! The price point AND the marbling of these steaks are better grade and LOWER PRICE. I got a Wagyu New York and just the other standard New York and I'm very happy. 100% will be coming back again. Time to salt and get ready for dinner time.

Great quality meats at excellent prices. We bought 4 boneless rib eye steaks from here a week ago and they were some of the best tasting steaks we have ever had. Rod's has high quality meats and great service.

Quality meats from quality folks. Stopped in here the other day and picked up a few t-bones. Reasonable pricing and fresh product! Started following their Instagram page and now I know when they have certain specials and items coming in. They also did mention that they have a newsletter with up-to-date info.
