Wondering about the frustrated reviews, I called them up about the eggs, and they told me their ostriches lay eggs April-July. But meat is still available afterwards. Just call ahead.

I loved visiting here! What a nice local farm. So unique and beautiful. A hidden gem.

SCAM ALERT! BUYER BEWARE! I purchase an ostrich egg from this company for Christmas. I paid $100. Two days after my delivery was supposed to arrive I got an email saying that they were out of season. I guess their website takes orders on things they don't have. I got an email stating that they could give me one while in season or refund my money. I asked to be refunded. After 4 follow up emails not yielding a refund I called and talked with the owner. He said he would look into it and call me back. Surprise, no call back. I have gotten nothing but the run around of excuses. We have a new accountant, we were on vacation, blah blah blah. I gave them one last chance to do the right thing and avoid this review and they again left me hanging with no refund. Save yourself the hassle and go with anybody else! Update: I called again and after 3 months they have issued me a refund and apologized. I have update the review to 3 stars but I do feel they could have made this right much sooner.

I ordered an ostrich egg (over $100) as a gift for someone for Christmas. I placed my order before Christmas and later received an email from the company stating that eggs were out of season, but they would be happy to send me one when they were OR get a refund. I requested the refund. However I was then told the bookkeeper was in vacation until after the new year. Which is fine, but when I contacted them again when they were supposedly back, I was told they had a STACK of PayPal refunds to process and they were sure mine was in there, and I would be receiving it soon. Surprise surprise here we are 2 months later with no refund. This is unacceptable.

When shopping at the Farmer's Market please track your purchases. The kid at Roaming Acres Grand Army Plaza overcharged me almost $15. and did not apologize when we figured it out.

Drove 1 hour with the family to see the farm and was practically chased away. On the map it said that the farm was open. The owner was rude and unfriendly. We were told at the Montclair farmers market we could see the farm anytime. When we got there the owner was very unapologetic - the fact that we had all that way just to see the farm and he treated us as if we just wondered onto farm and chased us away. I wonder, is it because I have an accent and one of us was brown? They lost a potential customer as they could have been more apologetic and welcoming

My favorite spot for bison! I make a point to go to Union Square every Monday and Friday to stock up. The meat is excellent

These guys came up and help catch 11 ostrich to move them from one house to a new house my customer bought up in Amenia N.Y dutchess County and let me tell you they were incredible very nice ppl and you have no clue on how happy I was I thought we would be able to move them and I'm so glad we decided not to try and got ahold of these guys they are beyond professionals lol thank you guys for everything my boss Ray and I are very very happy trust me I can't thank you enough

Cool farm. Great experience. Only wish they had a tractor to get us around lol. Nice group of people doing there best to raise there animals the right way. Thank you for a great day
