We're harvest host members, and for those who dont know its a camping membership that allows you to stay the night at places like Riffle Farms. The driveway is well maintained, but because of heavy rains days prior unfortunately our Promaster 3500(fwd) was not able to make it up the drive. The hosts even helped and did all they could think of to help get us to the spot for an hr or more, to no avail. They gave us an amazing farm tour and we were able to buy some ground bison, hot dogs and bison mac n cheese(which we cannot wait to enjoy). We even added a new "friend" Rumble, the stuffed bison, to always remind of us them. We cannot thank them enough for their amazing hospitality towards us. We will definitely be back, in our jeep next time!!

I was excited to see a shop that sells bison, pasta, sauces, numerous gourmet offerings. The only problem I have is when I entered the shop there was no greeting from the person behind the counter. I tried to be friendly, make some small talk about being happy they were in the neighborhood. I was wt with nothing. It appeared that that he was to worried about what he was doing on his computer. While I was there another customer came in with no acknowledgement. Seeing that this a boutique establishment I expected more. I visited today at 11:15 am.

We camped one night at Riffle Farms on a road trip. Unfortunately due to our limited time, we did not get to see the farm store. However I still highly recommend this place just due to the vibe from the property and the experience we had. It was so cool to see the bison, and the campsite was spacious.

Excellent place to visit! This farm & market are off the beaten path between Rowlesburg and Terra Alta WV. It is totally worth the drive though. They have a beautiful farm and take care of their animals very well. The meat and precooked meals they have to offer are delicious. Also watch for them at a local farmers market at Deep Creek Lake. Their Bison is very lean and tender. This is a very nice family who gave us a great welcome! They are also part of Harvest Hosts for anyone who enjoys camping.

So worth the drive. They have a farm store and several frozen premade options. I love the bison. If you are new to this healthier option, they sell a cookbook that will teach you the basics and more. I just purchased their CSA subscription for the summer. Looking forward to the drive to Terra Alta and seeing the beautiful farm again!

Really neat place tucked back in the hills of WV. Need four wheel drive to get there. Learn about raising Bison and then get to try some tasty meat. Can even buy some right there.
