My wife and I hired Eddie and his team for our wedding and not only was the food phenomenal, the staff was as well! I have never been to an event with staff that was just the right amount of attentive to where they did not feel over bearing but they were always there right when we needed them. They also took fantastic care of my wife, ensuring her needs were met during the big day. Eddie truly is a gentleman that knows how to run his business. If we did not live so far away from the store we would certainly be there at least weekly for our shopping needs. Hands down, we could not have asked for anyone better to handle our wedding day.

Eddie and his wonderful team catered our wedding. Planning a wedding ranks up there as one life’s great stressors. Throughout the entire experience, we always felt like we were in good hands, all the way from planning to execution. Eddie was attentive to and followed through on the touches that made the wedding our own, whilst also offering practical suggestions along the way. And of course, the food was delicious, and the portions generous. Thank you, Eddie and team!

Super expensive. I don’t mind paying more for quality, especially in this area. But I just paid 31 dollars for a NY strip that’s oxidizing… The 38$ ribeye is peeling apart. It looks like someone stretched it out. Straight robbery lol I never complain but cmon. I’m better off going to stop & shop next door at that point

Excellent butcher place. It has been around for a while. But I went there recently for the first time. And the experience was so good, and I was back only a week later. So far, I have had dry aged prime ribeye + And then yesterday we got half pound sirloin burger patties. The place is expensive, but they serve the best possible cuts and meats. At least the best in the area. The steaks were outstanding And burgers were the best I've had in a long time, if not the best ever. Highly recommend the place, I will be back soon

He met with us every step of the way to discuss food, staffing and all the details. Our event was not your typical wedding and he helped make our dream a reality by creating a cocktail style event that our guest are still talking about! Food was spectacular and the staff are well trained & hard working. We are so thankful for the team and would absolutely recommend them for your next event or just a stop in the shop for some amazing fresh meat, seafood and more!

We have catered from Ridgefield Prime for the last two to three years (skipping 2020) for our annual Halloween party. Eddie is wonderful to work with and makes the process easy. The food, especially the ribs, were great!

First off let me say Eddie is great and the butcher shop is small but extremely clean and has good variety. I picked up some of the dry aged rib eyes, prime porterhouse, thick cut bacon (5slices to the pound), shrimp and cocktail sauce. The shrimp were fresh, sweet, and crisp. The porterhouse was fantastic, but the rib eyes were hands down the best steaks we have ever had. I live 60 miles away but that won't deter me when I am looking for that perfect steak, Ridgefield Prime is my place for sure.

Customer service is top notch. I called looking for bones for bone broth, initially they didn't have what I was looking for. The young lady on the phone didn't just hand up and went above and beyond. Asked their cook what they use....long story short, amazing customer service even though I was simply looking to purchase inexpensive bones. Since I was a new customer they also gave me a free pound of delicious sausage. Bottom line, I will be a customer for life. Quality of meat spectacular and customer service superb. Regular meat selection is excellent. But, what prompted this review was some New England Clam chowder my wife brought home from RP the other day. I just finished the last of it for lunch. Fantastic! Dogs and hamburgers are good too.

What an amazing experience. The owner always says hello, and today I received amazing customer care.I had purchased some Littlenecks, half of which didn’t open. I very polite mentioned this, as I have never had it happen. Long story short, he was so kind and didn’t let me pay for one thing I purchased today, even when I insisted! Old fashioned service…
