1. We were promised a delivery in November for a summer cow and it didn’t happen until February. 2. The cow came in under weight. He did supplement with some of his own meat but only ground beef. Despite the supplemental meat, we still received less than originally intended and the price was not reduced. We didn’t receive the appropriate amount of premium cuts for a half cow. 3. He insisted the transaction be conducted in cash. We paid him and after we received the meat he began to count the cash. The next day he claimed we short changed him payment. We reminded him several people counted the money as witnesses. Moments later he found the missing cash in his truck. 4. After the delivery occurred for 4 families he mixed up what belonged to each family. 5. Overall it was unorganized and communication was poor. The processor had similar comments.
