Wow! Paula has the very best veg, local bread, and hamburger this side of the Atlantic! She carries a lettuce - not sure what kind, but it has kind of like baby iceberg leaves - crisp and so favorable that it can be eaten like candy. We buy it 4 bags at a time! Oh, and those Grandma Miller's cookies in the freezer are pretty amazing too. A very wise way to get a lot for your dollars.
Great selection of local items. Owner is just so nice! Always enjoy my visits no matter how short...just a bright spot to visit!
Small, family owned and run, Vermont shop. There are lovely handmade fleece items for sale (mittens, blankets, pillows, etc.), as well as food products (meats, pies, cheese, etc.). Seasonal items can be found outside the shop. Potted flowers and starter plants for your garden in the spring and summer. Flowers for sale in the autumn, and trees for sale near Christmas.
Always fun to visit. Great selection and reasonable prices!
Nice owner, fast service, fresh eggs, good produce. We got, eggs, squash, snap peas, and some Misty Knolle chicken.
