Ray's Quality Meats is a meat retail business that focuses on providing high-quality meats, including steaks, pork, and chicken, along with prepared foods and salads. The business aims to offer a better alternative to grocery store meats, emphasizing quality and customer service. However, recent reviews indicate a decline in product availability and customer satisfaction.
After moving to the area, I was looking for a place to get meat that was better quality than the grocery stores in the area and they did not let me down. I have been impressed with the quality of all the meat that I have bought there. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and the only bad thing that I could say is that the customer area could due to be cleaned up a bit.
Was happy to see they are open on Sundays. Great selection of salads and prepared foods as well. Have passed them off as my own, on occasion.
My first time in there lots of wonderful choices and product great people very helpful I cant wait to try the breakfast sausage and roast i bought we will definitely be going back for more also im gonna tell friends and family to go there
I was a first timer today at Ray’s, I will be back! Open on Sunday!!!! Great staff, great selection! High quality steaks! Oh and antibiotic and hormone free pork and chicken! Fresh in house maid salads and baked goods as well as sausage! Glad to have found you all!
We had a great experience here. Spoke with Tom who runs the place. Great customer service and not to mention GREAT product. You won’t find cuts like this at Publix. If you want quality. This is your place.
Hey guys, a quick note to say thank you on the St Louis Ribs you picked out for me and also the recommendation of the Daggz ghost pepper honey BBQ sauce. I have grilled, BBQ & smoked meats for most of my adult life and take pride in my skills, but honestly, I have to say you helped me nail my smoke like never before
Ordered a fully cooked meal cost us $210. The turkey was not done you can see the bleeding leg they would not do anything other than $32 refund. I would not risk a Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner with another meal from them be aware
I left work early today to get there before closing time (which is 4pm according to their website). I arrived at 3:50 with my friend to make a purchase. The doors were already locked! A large older man opened the door so my friend asked if they were already closed. He very rudly said "yes" and mumbled something about parking for bike week. We said we're not here for bike week but rather to make a purchase!! I will never be back to Ray's again. I realize my little bit of money won't be missed and with your attitude you could probably care less. That's ok with me.
I have to say, from back in the hey day when Mark owned the place, things were amazing. Full meat cases, breads, fresh veggies and fresh mixed deli salads, like chicken salad. After a recent visit......wow, the place looked like it was going out of business. The veggie refrigerator was empty, the meat cases were empty, the deli salads (chicken salad, egg salad) looked like it had been sitting for a few days. Made the mistake of buying chicken salad as it used to be amazing. Tasted sour like it was old. Shelving which used to be full are empty. It's sad to say because I used to drive from far away to come here with a cooler filled to brim, now I wouldn't be sad if the place closed. So disappointing after being amazing for so long.
Once upon a time this was the place to go, but under the new management it has gone down hill. The staff is terrible and seem to care less about providing customer service. Even my neighbors have told me they won't be going back. It's not the place it once was. Custom sausage is a joke.
