Stopped by when we were hanging out in Mantua. The staff were very helpful in assisting my cousin with his special requests, and the Italian sandwich we got was fantastic. I'll have to come by when I need to get some fine meats or I'm looking for lunch!!

Love going to this place for a sub sandwich. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. Good portion sizes. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I didn't see any sign up to advertise their subs, but all you do is ask them for one and they get your meats and toppings and make it. I hope they expand their sandwich offering a little and do some hot subs or maybe a burger. I'm sure that's a bit extra work, but I bet they'd be amazing. So glad this place took over when K&K went out. Updated on 1/3/22, still a great place for subs and food. They had a hamburger lunch special, but I didn't try it. They do now have a little sub menu to order from, which is nice. Still tasty food!

Food was so-so and overpriced. Guy attempting to help us was unfriendly, didn't listen, and not helpful. Girl tried to help us with something he forgot and he told her not too? Crazy. Had heard this from other friends in the area but decided to try as we wanted to buy 10#s of ribeyes for a Memorial Day cook out and decided to drive a little further to Bonner's and spent my $200 there and had the best steak ever!

being local (Hiram) I frequent both the coffee shop and the butcher/bakery across the street. the owners are hands on ,friendly operators of a nice business. they have made "custom" coffee drinks and "cap steaks" from the tenderloin parts of the steak. the big chain grocery stores won't do it. Even if I wasn't local id enjoy occassional visits!

The freshness and quality of the meats are superior! The owners are so friendly and customer service oriented. The smoked pork chops are so tender and juicy! I asked for a particular thickness and the owner immediately said that he would custom cut whatever thickness I desired. Thank you for your cooking recommendations too! They turned out perfectly! I will be back again sometime very soon!

I had a fantastic experience at R44 Butcher and Baker Shoppe in Mantua, Ohio today! I stopped by for a quick lunch and decided to try their Italian sub – and wow, it did not disappoint! The sub was absolutely delicious, packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The meats and cheese were perfectly sliced, with just right amount of Italian dressing, and the bread was fresh. The flavors were perfectly balanced, making it at top 10 best Italian sub I've ever had. The staff was friendly and welcoming, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that I had everything I needed. The shop itself had a cozy, inviting atmosphere that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you have more time they have a nice meat section. I'll be packing a cooler for my next visit some fresh meats for my next BBQ!!!! If you're in Mantua and looking for a great place to grab a bite, I highly recommend R44 Butcher and Baker Shoppe. I stopped at Top Tier Bakery for Valentines goodies. I bought a peanut butter cheesecake, vanilla cheesecake and gingerbread sandwich heart. All are delicious and beautiful! They have wonderful items available. Staff is very helpful too. Great place to shop.

This place is a new favorite of ours. The meat quality is wayyyy better vs Walmart or other local stores. We went thru a few meat markets before finding this gem. And the subs!!! Omg they are so fantastic. It is worth the long drive. A few employees are very soft spoken, almost silent, I'm hard at hearing. But I'm sure they will be great once they get more comfortable. We prefer the guy who makes the subs! He makes them correctly and fast. Will be returning.
