Powers Family Farm is an agro-tourism venture that offers a family-friendly experience with various activities such as animal petting, hayrides, and a pumpkin patch. The farm focuses on providing a welcoming atmosphere for visitors, especially families with children, and features a small shop selling pumpkins and other items. The primary purpose is to entertain and educate visitors about farm life while allowing them to interact with animals.
This farm was just a basic farm. We were excited, but when we got there we quickly noticed this was not what we expected. Parking could be better. I never seen anywhere posted about the cost to visit. It does cost $10. That was too much for what they offer here. I’d say $5 would be just enough. The hayride without hay was disappointing to me. The cows were the best show for us. Other animals not so much. Goats, pigs, chickens, and alpacas. I think they should have decorated the farm with some fall decorations and make it more friendly and appealing for their visitors. Wish y’all the best and we thank you for the time we did have but unfortunately we won’t be back.
My family had the best experience at Powers Family Farm this past weekend. Immediately upon arrival you are greeted and made to feel like family. We all enjoyed spending time loving on the animals, sitting around the fire- pit, and the kids had a ball in the play areas. The best part was the hayride! What a terrific experience you have while also gaining knowledge about the farm. Thanks Powers Family for sharing the farm with us! Please continue what you’re doing!
We had a wonderful time visiting Power’s Family Farm with our family! Our 1-year-old daughter absolutely loved seeing all the animals, especially the cow. Our favorite parts were the hay ride and the corn tin for her to play in. Admission is $10 per person, and the food is very affordable, which made the day even better. The staff was friendly, and the whole place had such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We can’t wait to visit again soon!
We visited this farm for the first time yesterday- the last day of their fall/halloween pumpkin patch. We wanted to take our 1.5 year old somewhere where she could see the farm animals and play. We got to see and interact with chickens, goats, mini-donkeys, cows, and alpacas! She got to feed the donkeys and goats, and even pet the newborn baby goats and loved it. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. We had a great time even with drizzling rain here and there. And our toddler absolutely loved the giant bin full of dried corn to play in like a big sandbox. We thought the price was reasonable given that it supports the farm and animals and we spent several hours here. We will definitely come back again hopefully with more extended family for the holiday season. I think the best option if your family is fond of farm animals is to just get the season pass to cover several visits and the kids will love it.
Making our way back home and we wanted to pick up pumpkins to bring back home with us. Found this place through Google Maps and was thrilled to be able to stop by. The owner and everyone else who was there on the farm that day were super friendly and lovely to talk to. Pumpkins were at a great price and love the small store as well. If we ever come back through during fall, would go back for the pumpkins again!
Excellent people, great place to visit. It carries a petting zoo, shop, kids camp (see online), and much more.
We had such a good time here yesterday. My one year old really enjoyed seeing all the animals and the pumpkins. We got some really cute photos as well. So happy we decided to check out somewhere new!
I wish I had gotten more pictures of the Powers family. This family has been farming for years in Villa Rica. So their daughter, Kendall, decided to make an agro-tourism venture. We really enjoyed our day at the farm. There was a gift shop, picture booth, animal petting, hay ride (with Mrs. Powers), pumpkin painting, and a fire pit for toasting marshmallows. Of course there was plenty of pumpkins for sale of all different sizes. Support local businesses!!! Go visit Kendall and the rest of the Powers family. Take a picnic and make a day of it.
Nice family farm with a good amount of activities. The staff is nice and pleasant and the farm is very kid friendly.
Totally chill fun family farm experience. My 4 and 2 year old loved seeing Charlotte the pig and feeding her carrots, seeing the goats, alpacas (or llamas? can never tell the difference - LOL), and feeding the cows after taking a tractor ride into the field. The bounce house they have is kept under a covered area and the giant tunnel slide was the biggest hit for my kids. I will say they probably need a soft landing pad at the bottom because the slide is fast and the ground is not forgiving. They had a small shop with a covered picnic area which was perfect to have a snack. There were places to play games and take photos, and there was a small section to pick out pumpkins from a large variety of jack-o-lanterns, small gourds, and heirlooms. If you're looking for a family farm visit that isn't crowded and overall calm and quaint, this is the place for you.
