PORTERHOUSE MEAT MARKET

Best meat market in the area. Every time I’ve gone in I get nothing but amazing service, the people working here are always very nice and attentive. Always good meat and produce- I’ve never had any problem here. Just today I went in and the man behind the counter realized the meat I had was dated to be taken off the shelf yesterday, he ran back for me to go get me a fresh cut of chicken to replace it! Most stores would have let me leave just to make the money on something they would have to throw out anyways, these people are honest and genuinely good people. Always referring people here.

We finally went to Porter House Meat Market to get some steaks and burgers. When we arrived, we noticed someone grilling in the parking lot, and the food smelled amazing. We cooked the burgers that Zach had pre-seasoned, and they were the best we've ever had. We also cooked NY strips for dinner, and they were incredibly delicious. From now on, this will be the only place we buy our meat. We highly recommend Porter House Meat Market!

I went to Porter house meat market today and got more than a week's worth of meat and white acre peas for less than $90, including two thick, bone-in ribeyes with beautiful marbling. Plus, it felt amazing in there compared to this heat we have today (y'all know I love my AC!). Not only that, they were so friendly and nice. I had a toddler on my hip, and (who I assume was owner) unloaded my cart to ring us up and even carried my bags to the car. He didn’t ask; he insisted, which was so awesome to me as someone who doesn’t like asking people to go out of their way for me. A place like this can get my business any week! Oh, and don’t let the Havana address throw you off like I almost did.. It’s about 3 minutes north of Oak Valley Publix and easy to get in and out it of! The prices and selection was great but customer service is so hard to come by these days and as a small business owner myself I really appreciated this place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Will return next week & shared my thoughts on living Tallahassee page as well! PS… if you ever plan to expand I’d love to see you where the old maple biscuit on Kerry Forrest used to be at 😁 Until then I will continue to drive from NE Tallahassee and support your business.

This was an awesome little find. Very clean establishment, friendly staff and great prices. Some of the best ribeyes I have ever tasted. The Butcher was happy to custom cut my steaks for me and this is definitely my new market to purchase meats.

We recently purchased 12 steaks for a birthday party and everyone of them was excellent. Best steaks we have had from a food service in a long time. We will definitely be getting our meat from them from now on. Great customer service.

I always wanted to have a local meat market that has true customer service and cares about how I want to customize an order and this place is it!!! Zach will answer your questions and provide top grade selections. His Facebook page always updates specials he may have and I LOVE picking up his grilled to order and smoked items for a quick meal that’s ready. This market makes getting general groceries super handy as he is open when other grocers are not. If he doesn’t have it, he’ll get it for you. Plus he gets the most incredible Alaskan King Crab at such a great price…a grilled delicacy! To my surprise, he also processes deer and pig for my hunting friends. What a fantastic market! You have to visit.🥰
