Pop's Butcher Shop

This is such a nice, clean butcher shop, with lots of interesting items to purchase, including sauces and frozen goodies. It’s fancy - the meat/s are well presented and people rave about their pastrami sandwiches. Nice people behind the counter. We purchased two pastrami sandwiches, one on a sub/roll the other on rye, both with mustard (of course) and took them home for dinner. The pastrami is not sliced, but chunky, cut into pieces, which is different than most places. Not really hot or juicy, but a bit dry… also, for the price (over $19 per sandwich) the amount of pastrami was sadly lacking. One of the nice things is their large selection of doggy treats 🐕‍🦺 which got them an extra star.

Was pulled in by the Pastrami Sandwich sign outside. You could tell that this place was no joke and a real deal butcher shop. The sandwich was every bit as advertised. $20 sandwich, but gave you a ton of product. I will be back again when I am in the area.

I want to thank Donna & her staff for the amazing BBQ box, as it did not disappoint! I have been going to Pops since they opened and everything is always top notch, from their meat selection to their premade items! Their customer service is great, you will always be greeted with a smile! Thank you again!

Great selection, exceptional quality, and most importantly a kind ,welcoming, and hard working staff. The atmosphere is what I'd describe as a family friendly and local neighborhood butcher shop with a diverse selection to choose from. Both Donna and Bryce went the extra mile to help me and it did not go unnoticed. This attentiveness and compassion for helping others is much appreciated and what makes Pop's so special. Blessings!

The best hot juicy pastrami sandwich in NJ! If you enjoy hot, juicy lean pastrami then this is the place to go. They also have a great selection of butchered meats, as well as prime aged. Along with many side dishes to go along with your meal. Fresh blueberry & banana nut muffins. And Calandra bread delivered fresh from North Jersey!

Love this place, and have always received excellent service and their products are pretty well priced. I come here often for organic chicken that they will slice to desired thickness and it's actually cheaper than Wegmans.

I’m left speechless. I did not expect a Katz Deli / Pastrami Queen, level sandwich when I walked into this butcher shop. Absolutely stellar pastrami sandwich. And for half the price of the fore mentioned NYC staples. Don’t know how there isn’t a line outside this place. Wow!!
