Outstanding deli, been going here for years. Walk in the door and take a hard left all the way to the end for the deli. Take note of all the goodies in the butcher window while you’re waiting for your freshly made sandwich, pick up a deviled egg or potato salad while you’re at it. All delicious.

Pete’s Fine Meats has an incredible selection of traditional and exotic meats, from rabbit to axis deer. I was in a bind for some marinated fajita meat for a BBQ I was hosting the same day. I called as soon as they opened, and they assured me they could have what I needed in just 20 minutes. True to their word, 10 pounds of inside skirt steak and 5 pounds of marinated chicken breasts were perfectly marinated, vacuum-sealed, and ready for my party. The beef fajitas were such a hit that I barely had any leftovers! Their customer service is always top-notch, and they have a great selection of ready-to-eat meals. We also picked up some great salsa while we were there. Whatever you do, make sure to grab a pack of their chocolate chip/macadamia/coconut cookies. These are by far some of the best cookies known to man, and I’m amazed they don’t sell out every day. Highly recommend!"

The Turkey was out of this world. When I picked up the Turkey and my prime rib, the owner was there and gave me two of the best fresh homemade cookies I have ever had. The entire staff was so nice and even carried my purchase to my car. They are on the higher price side, but for the quality, it is worth every penny. The store also has local spices and custom sauces and gift items as well. I bought some seasonings, and people are still talking about how great they were:) Great place definitely recommend.

Stopped by to try their burger and it was delicious! I made the mistake of ordering a double meat burger and it was HUGE! I bought some seasoned burger patties to grill at home and they were phenomenal. The last place that had burgers this good was Guy's meat market, but they have closed down. The entire staff is very friendly and inviting. The homemade cookies are also a must try.

I was driving down Richmond and saw the sign for Pete’s and made a u-turn. I am so glad I did. I walked in at 6p and the close at 6p. However, Mike (owner) told me to take my time. His generosity and genuine nature were beyond timely and an excellent reminder that there are still good people out here. My father recently passed and he gave me some things to take to my mother when I return to Dallas tomorrow. We talked about his father and family and it was the kind of experience where The Lord reminds you that you are not alone. I will make it a point to get here every time I visit Houston. And let me tell you something, get the cookies! They still use his mom’s recipe. I tried one and I just had to smile and nod and smile and nod. Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic experience at Peter’s Fine Meats and Deli! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful — they took the time to explain everything and made sure I got exactly what I was looking for. Their service was warm, patient, and professional. I purchased a tenderloin, and it was not only reasonably priced but also unbelievably delicious — tender, flavorful, and cooked up perfectly. You can really tell they care about quality. This is the kind of local butcher you want to keep coming back to. Highly recommended!

They also stock or can order any exotic meats buffalo to quail. Still family owned & operated by Mike and his family , the friendliest hardest working staff that knows your name and they’ve supported local FFAs , the Houston Livestock show and rodeo , World championship barbecue cookoff and the community.

Pete's Fine Meats and Deli has an awesome selection of quality meats, both traditional and exotic. Today, my son and I picked up Bison steaks and Kangaroo steaks. The Bison was of excellent quality and was absolutely delicious. The cookies here are unlike any other I have had throughout Houston. They are definitely a must-have if you're craving something sweet. The staff here are very knowledgeable and very, very friendly. The customer service alone is reason enough to come back. I encourage anyone to visit Pete's! You will not regret it...

Best patty melt in the city! They have a large selection of soda pops too, these brands Dublin and Hanks. There’s potato salads and deviled eggs, they’ll cook you a full steak if you ask them to.

First time eating here. I love it. They have good homemade food. I had the chili, it was delicious.
