So we purchased meat at at the Pennsylvania packing house and the first time we did the meat was fresh and it was very good. I thought I found my new place to buy meat. The second time I needed meat I called my order in, so when we went to pick up the order, there was a mistake in the cut of the pork chops that we ordered and they corrected that immediately. No problem. So now I am using the hamburger that I purchased. I got 10 pounds of it. It seems almost everyone I've opened has either been freezer burnt or you can tell where fresh was put over top of old stale burger and it was so dry and crusty, not usable at all. You need to be there watching them Pack the meat otherwise you get what they have put in the freezer that was about to go bad. And when you get at home it doesn't last. I haven't had this hamburger for more than three months in the freezer. A total waste of money. They've lost a customer.

Some of the friendliest people you could ask to have look after you and the meat is fantastic! Butchering is on Tuesdays so if you're looking to get things for your pets as well, then would be the time to go. Always nice to speak to Karen and the team!

Nice selection and friendly people. Ive only been once but will definitely be back. I was able to get an absolutely beautiful rib roast cut to the thickness I wanted. Also saw a lot of other very nice delmonicos and NY strips on display + tons of other pork, chicken and seafood, glad to find a place like this close to home.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE! Disgusting steaks and pathetic customer service! Look at the attached photo to see what this establishment sells to their customers. We recently went to Pennsylvania Packinghouse to purchase 10 ribeye steaks for a family function. Upon getting home, we noticed the receipt stated delmonicos. After calling the store and inquiring, they informed us that delmonicos were ribeyes with no bone. With our gathering being the next day, we kept the steaks. After grilling the steaks, we sat to eat and noticed that everyone was struggling to cut through the meat. Then, one after another, we all attempted to eat the steak but couldn’t due to them being horrendously fatty and chewy; we spit the bites of meat out due to it being non-edible. The next business day they were open, we went to their store with the steaks in a sealed bag. As we attempted to show the employees the steaks, we were greeted with rudeness, as one told us, “Maybe you should go elsewhere to buy your steaks”. Saddened and disappointed, we called the owner of the store; unfortunately, we were told that there is nothing that can be done as he displayed the same lack of concern and empathy that his employees did. We were shocked! We still can’t believe that this business treats their customers so poorly. Please, whatever you do, do NOT go to this establishment for your meats. The quality is awful and the customer service is even worse.

Not only is the quality of Meat amazing, these people treat You just like Family!!! It's so nice to walk in and feel like they've known You for years!! The Women up front are AMAZING and I totally enjoy the conversation while they are packing My order!! I highly recommend You make the trip!!

I ordered ahead. I arrived, and by the time I paid the bill, the order was in the parking lot waiting to be loaded in my car.

This local meat packing co and deli have friendly service and delicious meats and cheeses. We called in an order for deli meats and cheeses for 80 people. Our order wad ready for pick up the next day. Very pleased every year!
