Parkinson Farms

We love Parkinson Farms and happily give them a full 5 stars! We've been getting our eggs, Thanksgiving turkey, pork, and especially chicken from them and the quality is outstanding. Their whole chickens are incredibly juicy and meaty, and we recently tried their wings—absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the difference between pasture-raised chicken and store-bought—there’s just no comparison. We’re big fans of Parkinson Farms and plan to keep coming back for poultry, pork, and eggs!

This is my first year buying farm fresh anything. I absolutely love Parkinson Farms. The eggs, chicken, and turkey have been outstanding. I can definitely tell the difference in fresh vs purchasing from the store. Best choice I made this year! Thank you for doing what you do.

We LOVE Parkinson Farms. They are our chicken, egg, and sausage go to. Their Italian sausage is seriously so delicious. Cooking down their whole chicken and then simmering the remains for bone broth is so yum! The grandkids love seeing the chickens, the very friendly cat, and the new baby lambs when they arrive. Lee and Krista are a joy to chat with when picking up our products as well. We've become spoiled living only 4 minutes away!

We ordered our Parkinson Farms turkey nice and early so we’d be sure to get one. We picked up a huge 26 lb turkey! We did a dry brine after defrosting, stuffed it and lovingly cooked it. We all agreed it was the best turkey we ever had! If only we had remembered to take pictures of the beautiful finished product. Thanks for making our Thanksgiving the most delicious ever! We’ll be back next year!

Last year visiting family out of state for Thanksgiving they had a fresh turkey which in our opinion had a better taste than a frozen one. This year I was looking if I could find a local location that had fresh, never frozen, turkeys. I couldn’t find anything local but was fortunately able to find Parkinson Farms. Although it was 260 miles round trip it was clearly worth the effort. It's clearly more costly than a store frozen turkey but you’re not paying for a water injected, frozen block of a turkey. Although there is a crispy skin after deep frying, the juicy tender interior and the taste makes it worth the effort to have a fresh turkey.

Got a pasture-raised turkey from Parkinson Farms for Thanksgiving, and it was a huge hit! Everyone went back for seconds and we made a stew and risotto too. We also got ourselves some eggs and a chicken while we were at it and everything was delicious. The ordering process for the turkey was very convenient through a website they set up, and they even sent out recipes and reminders to make sure my bird turned out the best it could be. Thanks y'all!

I bought a whole chicken to roast. It was one of the juiciest, and meatiest chickens I have ever ate! Since there was little to no intramuscular fat the meat itself had a unbelievable quality I have never experienced in a store bought bird. I would 100% recommend spending the extra money and get a better quality bird from Parkinson Farms. The flavor was rich and supple, and there was virtually no fat. However don’t think the absence of fat means absence of flavor or juiciness, it absolutely does not! Do yourself a favor and try their chicken at least once in your life! You will not be disappointed!

Parkinson farm is a fantastic place to get fresh homegrown items. My wife found this place about two years ago. Absolutely fantastic. First time i met them it was like we were old friends. Got our turkey there for the second year in a tow and it was fantastic.. they actually showed us the turkeys and how they were taking care into the feed and letting them move around. They started to raise hogs and give folks tge opportunity to get a qtr/half or full hog. We went with the half a hog, absolutely fantastic, again. They even coordinated to get our coolers and drop off meet so we did not have to go out of our way. Service is always with a smile .. Due to there patience’s and drive to have quality products, i get over 75% of my meat from there (chicken, pork, turkey, fresh eggs) along with the recent coordination for raw milk.. I will be getting my turkey there for the years to come. I look forward to xmas turkey/ham.. Give them a try, support local.

From the first time we showed up on their farm, the Parkinson's have become a couple that we truly admire. They are completely transparent in their practices. The first time we arrived to pick up a few dozen eggs, they were eager to walk us around their property and show us what it is they're doing. We've since become friends, and my children look forward to picking up chicken and eggs from their place because they (and their birds) are so very welcoming. They're down-to-earth and genuine. You will not be disappointed in purchasing from them.
