As for truck deliveries not too bad enough for maybe 1 truck on the street but they unload you fast. Livestock is at main building refer is building next door 1 dock
Better go there in weekdays, weekend already crowded and long line for custom cut meat. I just bought a case of Jumbo wings on sale for $60 for 40lbs box. Great deal.
Best place to get bulk meat. Amazing. $100, freezer full of food.
This time, I purchased lamb ribs, oxtail, and t bone steaks. The price of beef is abnormally high right now and I'm not exactly sure what the reason is. Perhaps a recent disruption in their supply chain? At any rate... I appreciate the organization of the meats, but wish they were regularly restocked. The spare ribs section looked like the scattered toddler clothes section in Walmart. You're unlikely to come across major steals but they get the job done. For variety, Peoria Packing Co. offers better value.
I frequent here often. Good deals. Make sure to bring a jacket it is extremely cold which is to be expected. Make sure.to check the prices that the cashier ring up because sometimes the meat items are mistaken for another meat item and you could be overcharged. I was, but it was corrected and my money was issued back to my card. Lastly, if you have a weak stomach, this.might not be the place for you to shop. It is a meat store!
Fresh meat and fish. Frozen options are available too. They have varieties of fresh sea food. I also love shopping from the spice selection close to the cashier. I love how clean the place is too.
I Love, Love, Love this place! They have a variety of meats to choose from. Chicken, beef, pork, goat, lamb, various kinds of fish and other seafood. They have a large selection of spices and cooking oils and lard. They have meats already cut for tacos, and stews that you can scoop whatever quantity you need into a bag and you can have any meat you buy professionally cut by one of the butchers. Very reasonably priced also. It is surprisingly very clean and well organized. Very impressive! The staff is very friendly and they go out of their way to help you with anything you need. Excellent Customer Service!!! Lots of smiles and great attitudes. They even help you take your purchases to your car. If you ever get the chance to visit this place, YOU WILL BE HOOKED!
Great butcher shop, selections, and prices. FAR more affordable than ALL of the supermarkets across Chicagoland. If they could add a complete fresh seafood section with the wholesale prices to the public like they do with meats, this would be a grand slam.
