The ranch was everything we wanted - quiet, rustic, clean and located in the perfect spot surrounded in Montana’s beauty. So close to Yellowstone entrance. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and so interested to have a chat. Horseback riding and fly fishing were great (first time for both). The Friday night BBQ with music was lovely. Everywhere you looked was more beautiful than the last. Renting a car is a good idea to get around. Highly recommend - my daughter and I loved it!!!

I didn't lodge here as they were entirely booked, but had the steak cook out dinner and horseback ride. Great value for the price, in my opinion. The food was very good, steak made to my specs and well seasoned. The ride took us up a ridge just as the sun was setting over Hebgen Lake. Really a fantastic evening, couldn't have asked for better weather! Recommend this as part of your greater Yellowstone itinerary.

Had the BEST horseback riding experience at Parade Rest Ranch! The entire staff was friendly and welcoming; our guide was knowledgeable and made the ride fun and relaxing. The horses were well-trained and easy to ride, and the views along the trail were fantastic. Highly recommend stopping by for a memorable day outdoors just a few minutes away from Yellowstone—we can’t wait to come back!

Parade Rest Guest Ranch was the absolute highlight of our two-week road trip through the USA! We spent the last three nights of our trip there, and it couldn’t have been a better, grand finale. The food was incredibly delicious, the staff was warm, attentive, and simply fantastic. We especially loved the wonderful horseback rides through the stunning nature – they made each day a truly special experience. I fell so much in love with this ranch that I was genuinely sad to leave. We felt welcome from the very first moment and can wholeheartedly recommend Parade Rest Guest Ranch to everyone. Thank you for this unforgettable time – we will definitely be back! Warm greetings from Germany!

If you’re looking for the perfect place to disconnect from the world and truly soak in the beauty of Montana, Parade Rest Ranch is it. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like part of the family. The wranglers—Kate, Elijah, Connor, and Brady—were beyond exceptional. Not only were they knowledgeable and professional, but they also brought such fun, warmth, and personality to every ride. Their passion for what they do really made our time unforgettable. Not to mention how great they are with kids. The cabins are perfect for anyone wanting to get away from it all. Cozy, quiet, and surrounded by nature, they strike that rare balance between rustic charm and comfort. You can truly unplug and relax here. We went with the all-inclusive package, and I can’t recommend it enough. The food was excellent, every meal hearty and satisfying, but the buffalo steaks were a standout—easily one of the best meals I’ve had in years. And as a thoughtful bonus, the ranch packed us delicious lunches to take with us when we visited Yellowstone Park, making those long days of exploration so much easier. Parade Rest Ranch is the kind of place that sticks with you long after you leave. Whether you’re coming for the horses, the food, the scenery, or just some peace and quiet, this place delivers on every level. Don’t miss it!

Beautiful and authentic setting, right in the middle of nature and the ranch. Unfortunately, the cabin is very rustic. The entrance doors don’t close or lock properly and creak loudly enough to wake up the whole ranch. The finishes are very outdated, the two light bulbs barely give more light than a candle, and the portable heater wasn’t enough for a very chilly night. On top of that, the shower head only had a few jets working, some of them as strong as a pressure washer. I honestly expected a cabin with more comfort. The WiFi doesn’t work due to the distance from the cabin. Breakfast was very basic, though the homemade pancakes were delicious. Warm and professional welcome.

My friend and I stayed at Parade Rest Guest Ranch over Memorial Weekend, and we had such a great time. The staff was amazing—super friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. The horseback riding was definitely one of the best parts of the trip. The trails take you through the mountains with beautiful views, and we saw lots of wildlife along the way. The guides were awesome and made the rides really fun and relaxing (we especially enjoyed our ride with Emily!). The horses were well-trained and easy to ride, which made the whole experience even better. The views at the ranch are absolutely stunning. You are right in the mountains, and it feels so peaceful and scenic everywhere you look. If I had to mention a couple of downsides, I’d say the rooms aren’t super fancy and could use a bit of an update. Also, the all-inclusive price felt a little high for what you get, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience too much. Overall, I would give it a solid 9 out of 10 and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway in nature.

Just spent there memorial day weekend with my brother. Amazing experience. The cabin was clean and spacious, the food was great, the staff very kind and helpful and the horseback rides truly amazing to experience this beautiful part of the country. Shoutout to our guides during the rides, Emily and Connor, but honestly every wrangler we met was great. Great selection of horses and mules (yes! You can ride mules there!). Highly recommend the sunset/evening ride, but the wranglers are great in making every ride a bit different so it is worth spending as much time as you can on horses. We missed the cookout, but it looked epic.
