Panola County Processing

Amazing! The people that work there are super nice, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! We are repeat customers and drive 2 hrs each way for their services. Will continue using them for our processing needs.

Best steaks in Panola County. We bought ribeyes and NY strips cut to 1 1/4” thickness. We also asked for them to be marinaded. The steaks came swimming in marinade and heat sealed in a heavy plastic pack. We let them marinade overnight in the refrigerator and grilled them the next day. Delicious, tender, and seasoned just right with no additional salt or spices. We also bought the jalapeno & cheese stuffed sausage and it was amazing!This was our first trip here and we will now be regular customers. Great service, nice people, custom cut meats. Who could ask for more?

We carried an 800 lb plus calf to them in April. Picked up our meat yesterday only to be upset. They actually charged me for doing the hamburger meat. I thought a 1.45 a lb was for doing all cuts of meats. It cost us as much for the calf as it did for his live weight. I was suppose to get 10 packages of stew meat only got 1, the sirloin steaks are small, the liver was not sliced up, pretty sure it's not our beef just by the size of the steak cuts. For the size of this calf and what I got back in return did not fill up my freezer like it should have. We were told not to take our calf there. Will never happen again. Very very disappointed.

Had a fresh calf taken here from our normal farm. Picked it up weeks later as soon as we got the call it was ready. IMO, There’s very little chance this is the meat we dropped off. It tastes aged. The cuts were far thinner than we requested. The hamburger meat packages are less than 1lb. Compared to our meet from a different processor and I’m not even sure how the difference is this significant. Probably won’t be back…

Went to Carthage the other day to get some deer sausage from the Panola County Processing after getting the sausage we returned home to cook some. After cooking it was immediately put in the refrigerator. Now today 1/26/22 my husband wanted me to cook him breakfast and make some deer sausage. Upon taking the sausage out I noticed it had mold on it and the date on the meat was way out of date with the date of 11/24/21 UNEXCEPTABLE!!! Will never return to this place again the young lady with blonde hair and a little dark tent was very very rude n not friendly at all. She appeared one way over the phone nice and sweet but once you show up her attitude stinks. WILL NOT GO BACK EVER..

The place to go for Crowder Peas& the only place nearby that has Chow Chow! The Chow Chow despite it's color tastes just the same! They are always so friendly and helpful! My favorite place to visit!

Amazing people and quality meats. The owners were great people and even gave us a tour of the place. We highly recommend Panola County Processing if you want great quality meats and customer service.

Worst experience ever will never do business with them again!! Meat weight was short and didn’t get what we asked for and when you call to question all attitude.

Simply the best in East Texas. I have taken both pigs and steers. From custom cuts to custom spicing, they will work with you. I took a 218 lb pig and ended up with 110 lbs of meat, not an ounce wasted! You get what you pay for! The packaging is clean and airtight. I cannot recommend them enough.
