Paicines Ranch

Beautiful, rustic and great food. The wedding was very enjoyable and being able to stay there before and after made it a true pleasure.

What a wonderful place to stay. If you want fancy with all the amenities, stay somewhere. If you want quaint and quiet, stay here. The room is small; bed, bathroom, mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, and that is it, but it is as advertised. The setting is awesome. This place is a working ranch, which just adds to the ambiance. Great spot for birding. My wife added 10 birds to her Merlin list. Perfect spot to stop on the way to Pinnacles NP

We had the most beautiful and picturesque wedding in June of 2024 at Paicines Ranch. It had all the right things--great food, great scenery, great staff, quaint cottages, historic homes... the list goes on. My husband and I are very happy and would get married here all over again.

We had a gorgeous wedding at Paicines Ranch! It was nice getting ready with all my girls in the lovely Rose Cottage. My closest family and friends enjoyed having a place to stay on site. There were many perfect spots for pictures. The lawn was the perfect spot for the ceremony and the barn was perfect for the reception. I loved everything about this place and would highly recommend for any event!

Beautiful landscape. The spring farm tour was cool - we got to see many parts of the farm. The dinner was delicious made with all local ingredients. Getting to pet the sheep was fun too!

I can’t say enough about this wonderful place. Wonderful people delicious food accommodations are top-of-the-line. We stayed at the Grogan house and it is just such a lovely house with very comfortable beds and everything we could need in the kitchen. The surroundings are gorgeous. It is very quiet and peaceful. We had lunch at the restaurant on Thursday it was incredible. We got the posole for dinner which was also incredible. Lots of great hiking trails. There are also many wonderful birds here. I love this place!

I got married here recently and it was beautiful! It is very convenient having rooms on site to accomodate so many guests. You have to cater through the venue but their food is amazing. They use their own grass fed meats and were great about what food and drinks we wanted. While the venue does come with a few things like tables and chairs, you do have to pay to rent other items from them and a lot of the decoration will be DIY, but this can be a good thing if you want to personalize a lot of things! Owners are not too strict about things and are flexible. This can go both ways though - sometimes the planning was a bit difficult due to lack of communication with the venue. It would take a while to get answers, or they would forget some things I told them. Definitely recommend getting a day of planner to help since this is a large venue with lots of DIY and family around usually. Other than that though, everything turned out beautiful and guests were very happy with the views and rooms. They are reasonably priced and we were able to stay up late too! Perfect day :)

The Spartan race here was super amazing! The terrain is pretty barren but the weather was great! There were some steep sections but not a ton of elevation gain. Overall this was a sweet spot for the Spartan race.

Such a beautiful venue for private events. Did a security job for a wedding. A great lay out. Plenty of parking and plenty of lovely views for your photo album.

Wonderful food, professionally served by helpful hosts at the Overlook. I visited for a special bird watching event and enjoyed meeting the owner and learning how they care for nature on the property and source all their food locally.
