We came in 30 minutes before he closed on a game day and the owner went out of his way to make more hamburger meat for us. I’m sure his equipment had already been cleaned, but he still served us. Awesome guy and experience!
We purchased beef short ribs and a couple of ribeyes and it was absolutely fantastic! We’ve never had prime beef ribs, as beef short ribs are sort of hard to find. I never want them another way now. Our braised short rib game went up a notch.

I went into the meat market for the first time Tuesday. I was so impressed with the vibe and food selection. Had no idea of the quality of meats, etc. that were so tastefully displayed. The owner Josh was so helpful and knowledgeable. Enthusiast also. I’ve been telling everyone about the place. In fact I’m heading there after my day job today !
I visited Oxford Meat Company this weekend, and I was blown away by the quality of their steaks. The ribeyes were the best I’ve ever purchased from a butcher. I couldn’t believe how nicely marbeled they were. By far the best cut of beef in Oxford. Will definitely go there again!

Oxford has needed something like this for years. My go-to now when I'm in town for high quality protein(s) especially the brisket. Lunch specials are crazy reasonable/delicious. Also WAY easier to get to on this side of town then driving all the way into campus.
Good selection of great quality meat and seafood! I picked up some gulf redfish and crab stuffed mushrooms that were fabulous! I’m looking forward t seeing what is available next time I’m there.

Very happy with both the quality and price of the items I purchased. I bought a steak, two stuffed potatoes, and several stuffed mushrooms. There were many other items that also looked great.
