Ottawa Farms is a family-friendly farm that offers various activities such as strawberry and blueberry picking, as well as entertainment options like bouncy houses and mini trains. They sell fresh strawberries, jams, ciders, and other jarred products, making it a destination for fun and local produce. The farm aims to provide an enjoyable experience for families looking to spend time outdoors.
I had the most fun I’ve had in a long time. I was thoroughly exhausted and I underestimated how much work bouncy houses really are! 10/10 from the host to the bounce houses to the people I met and bounced with.
I went to the Strawberry festival for the second year in a row with my family and we were a little disappointed this year. The strawberry fields hardly had any red strawberries to pick, after looking around for a good ten minutes, we brought back the empty basket and decided to do other activities. Getting onsite is a tad expensive, it'll cost 5$ per head (my kids were free ages 4 & 5months) but paying an entrance fee doesn't really get you anything. Once you get in, you still need to pay for absolutely everything. You also need to purchase tickets for activities and some of the activities aren't worth the amount of tickets that are asked. Some of the activity operators would tell us 3-4 tickets for the activity or 5$....the tickets are worth a dollar, so essentially it would be more expensive to pay cash. Also don't buy too many tickets because they won't buy them back afterwards. The mini train for kids however, is amazing! It's my sons favorite and he also enjoyed the giant slide. The little piglets were fun to see, we enjoyed the music and the strawberry ice cream is absolutely delicious!! Overall, check it out. We had a fun family afternoon outside and spent a few hours here despite the few negatives.
Lovely farm, we went for strawberry picking, they have huge amounts of strawberries fresh and lovely strawberry to pick up for just 3$/lb, it's a fun activity to do kids of all ages and adults can enjoy as well, they have a small play area on the side with a little wooden tractor and giant seesaw, and ofcourse billy the goat for a little patting as well!! My son and his friends had lots of fun for almost 2-3 hrs!! Highly recommended for a fun filled day with family, also don't forget to grab a cup of strawberry ice cream from the store on your way home!
My kids loved this farm and really enjoyed picking their own strawberries! The staff was super friendly. My only complaint was that there wasn’t any toilet paper in the port-a-potty. Loved it and will definitely come back!
Went to the Strawberry Festival....was pretty unimpressed. I was expecting a lot more from the advertisement. I am also from the Poconos up north where our strawberry festivals and farms utilize a.much bigger area and everything is including in the gate price. You pay to enter then must additionally pay to do any of the activities offered. I found my 2 year old LOVED it while my 6 and his 7 year old friend wanted to do things that frankly cost too much money one slide was 5$ each time they went up needless to say it was a day filled with "no" for the older kids. My 2 year old and I were happy walking around looking at the pigs and such. The staff were great and it was a very beautiful farm! Just wont ever go again...maybe just to pick strawberries which even that was a very small plot.
Rodeo is the most!! Family entertainment, laugh, enjoy, good food, gentle ambiance, perfect choice for a weekend getaway.
Checked their FB and stated they were open today for blueberry picking. Got there and plenty to get. Super friendly folks there. Shows no thru traffic sign on the road but you can go around.
Strawberry festival - fields were empty. Prepare to spend a fortune. $10 to get in, $5 for a ride, $2 for a ball pit. Even the hay ride costs a few dollars per person. Highlight of the day was seeing the chickens. Won’t be returning.
Big fat juicy strawberries! Will go again! A little over 5 pounds was around $20. They also had meats, jams, ciders, and an assortment of other jarred stuff. I'm a garlic lover, tried the pickled garlic for the first time. Will buy again.
