Oscar's Smokehouse

Oscar’s Smokehouse in Warrensburg, New York is fantastic. This is a “must go to” spot if you are traveling on the Adirondack Northway, I – 87, in upstate New York. They have a full variety of smoked sausage, smoked bacon, smoked turkey, beef jerky, cheeses and a variety of other interesting food; too many to mention here. They also have a full-size butcher’s counter in their shop. I visited their shop recently and purchased two varieties of Portuguese smoked sausage, both of which are outstanding and a package of teriyaki beef jerky. Don’t miss this place if you are traveling on I-87, the Adirondack Northway. Well worth the stop! If you miss the exit, you can always order their food on line.

Bought some sausage and a couple of pies. The sausage was really good but I should have asked for some good ways to prepare and cook it. The pies (cherry and blackberry) were okay...not sure I would buy another pie there.

Oscar’s Smokehouse in Warrensburg is absolutely amazing! The second you get close, the smell of the meat hits you, and it’s so good it makes your mouth water. It’s the kind of smell that instantly puts a smile on your face. The food there is beyond delicious — everything is cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My favorite things are the bacon and jerky, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything they make. Every time I go, I leave happy and full. If you love the smell and taste of real smoked meat, Oscar’s is the place to be!

One of the most popular butcher shops in the Adirondacks. All things BBQ, a full selection of meats, seasonings, some salads (delicious). Great burgers and hot dogs, plus a small freezer section with veggie burgers that are fantastic. They also have local pickles and cheeses. Just amazing. Worth a visit.

The hunter sausage and homemade cheddar cheese is outstanding! I love the “more than mustard” spread. We’ve tried the steaks a few times and found they weren’t a very good cut. Our family enjoys the hams but we soak them before as tend to be very salty.

Only PLACE we go for delicious meat! Best filet mignon i ever had. Delicious! Regular beef jerky 4 oz pound of bacon smoked brats does smoked cheddar cheese is a must I added it to our Kraft Deluxe original macaroni and cheese just two pieces and it was phenomenal. 😲 😱 🏆 You CANNOT come this far North AND NOT STOP HERE!

One of a kind meat store! We love the smoked pork chops, pulled pork burgers, house made jerky and their marinated chicken. More than Mustard and their horseradish also special. Clean store, and helpful staff. Oh and the bacon - apple wood smoked and maple - delicious and vacuumed packed for travel and freezer. I also find it to be well-priced for the quality!

While on vacation, I stopped in and I must say it was fantastic. Purchased smoked cheddar and the smoked chicken salad.Both were amazing, the cheese was especially outstanding. There was a wide variety of meats, cheeses, spreads and seasonings.Customer service was great. Would absolutely stop by again.

I will never give this place a low rating because we the people know it is the State and not managements fault… that being said… THIS BAG HAS RUINED YOUR NAME!!

I love coming here. I personally get the breakfast sausages and dinner sausages (both hot and mild) whenever I come here. However, they don’t just sell meat! They have everything you need to make a charcuterie board, plus chips and snacks …

Found this place while I was on vacation in lake George. It was great! I bought a bunch of stuff to bring home. I would definitely be shopping here for all my meat stuffs if I lived here!

Excellent butcher shop with some awesome smoked meats and cheeses. Everything is good. And the people working there are very welcoming and professional. Can't say enough good about Oscar's. ❤️

This is a great butcher in the Lake George area if you're visiting. They have a lot of different meats at the deli as well as on the freezer/refrigerator section.

Absolutely the best bacon you can get! Every variety is delicious, as is everything you can get at Oscar's! It's probably the best thing about Warrensburg :)

Who is the monster that gave Oscar's less than 5 stars??? This place is amazing. They have a vending machine for meat!!!! I can get bacon in the middle of the night. Unreal!! All hail Oscar's king of the pig!!!

Great selection. Knowledgeable staff. Young woman handled our order like she's been doing it since birth. Best part is the meat they offer is top shelf. Steaks, bbq pork, elk, lunch meat, cheese, chicken brats, all was on our order. Yum!

Always a pleasure to visit Oscar's. Although the store is small and often crowded when we are there, the staff are friendly, cheerful and work hard to keep things moving quickly.

We love Oscar's. This lasy trip we picked up some horseradish, Canadian Bacon, and some smoked pork chops that were amazing. The service was great ~ very efficient and friendly staff.

I get the beef ribs there and they've always been very tender. They have a big spice and seasoning section along with some good bbq sauces. Pretty much something for everyone. Check them out!
