46 North Farm grows garlic, dry-farmed winter squash and beans, mixed produce, and cut flowers using methods that prioritize soil health and wildlife habitat. While they source inputs compliant with organic standards, they choose not to pursue formal certification, focusing instead on transparency and direct community engagement. The farm preserves much of its 18-acre land as pollinator habitat, farming only on a portion of the property.

Offerings

Fresh produce, seasonal bouquets, sweet pea bunches, and cut lavender are available at local markets and pop-up events. During the growing season, the farm also sells dried florals, jams, pickles, and unique items like Burning Intentions Bundles. Their processed goods include dried beans, flower wreaths, and crafts made from summer-harvested blooms.

Community & Education

Teresa Retzlaff, the farm’s founder, is a vocal advocate for local food systems. She speaks at regional events and co-hosts a twice-monthly radio show, In Season, on Coast Community Radio. The farm emphasizes education through workshops and direct communication, ensuring customers understand how their products are grown.
