We have been a member of the ORVF herd share family for a couple of years now. My family has the chicken, beef, and pork herd shares from ORVF. We love the quality/taste of the products we receive but most of all we love knowing our farmers! Having a relationship with the people who are in charge of your food, makes the experience and knowledge of what you are eating much more enjoyable. We love ORVF!
10/10 best grass fed beef, chicken, and pork you can buy. Fantastic folks operate this farm. Communication is great. Lots of different options for purchasing providing options for those with big deep freezers to those who have small freezers.
We are so pleased and loved buying meat from Old Rich Valley Farms! We purchased the Big Bulk Box and were happy to have quality meat while supporting a local family and farm. They were so friendly during pickup at the Abingdon Farmers Market. We will definitely continue to use them for all of our meats.
We stayed at their Airbnb one room cabin and it was the best experience! We bought some meat and they had it ready in the fridge for us. That we also had the farm fresh eggs. They were the nicest people. Definitely check out they're little cabin with a hot tub it was so relaxing. It was so great to be totally off grid! Will definitely be back again
The beef is top quality, delicious and low in fat. As a plus, Amy is so easy to work with, and makes it easy to receive the order.
I get my meat share from here on a monthly bases. It's such good quality and beats anything you would find in the store. So happy to have a local option that is pasture raised and not full of unnecessary antibiotics and hormones. And it tastes amazing.
We have purchased beef chicken&pork a few times and will continue too! Best fresh delicious meat we ever had! Not to mention the friendliest kind folk you will ever meet!
We buy all different kinds of pork products (bacon, sausage, bratwurst, hot dogs) as well as whole chickens from ORVF and it's all wonderful. Truly great people producing great food.

Beautiful scenery if you drive over Route 16 for farm pick up. The family is wonderful and always eager to help with supplying all your meat needs with good quality meat
