Five stars are not enough. Love, love, LOVE this place! Their products, both their meat and the ones from other local small businesses, are all amazing. Don't see what you are looking for? Ask! The staff is friendly and a wealth of knowledge. Still don't know what to get? Try their 3-month CSA box that includes both beef and pork products. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. My family raves about the taste and quality.
I LOVE this place. I have been purchasing meats from Nooherooka for a while now. I use to go all the way to the small shop they had set up at the actual farm, but I am so excited to have this gem only minutes down the road from me. Farm fresh beef, butchered 30 min away and 21 day dry aged, raised with no hormones! Once you try this meat you won’t want a Walmart steak ever again. They also carry a lot of other fresh local goods ranging from honey, fresh strawberries, and my absolute favorite was the fresh homemade sourdough bread. I bought a loaf that was still warm as it had just been wrapped, fresh from the baker. The staff have always been so kind and courteous and answered any questions I have. They also run specials on the meats, I got a whole rack of fresh ribs for $15 last time! Give this place a try and you won’t be disappointed. A local establishment like this is like a relic of the past, when you could shake the hands that raised your food, and we should all support this family owned farm so it can continue to thrive in our community!
10 out of 10 would NOT recommend! I am currently sitting in their parking lot. I am the only consumer in the lot. I went in to browse and buy random, local goods to post on social media. I am not their target clientele and she had no problem making that known. The signs says "our animals don't do drugs". I can neither confirm nor deny that statement. The worker blocked the meat section and I was not able to browse it.
