I purchase Delmonicos here regularly. I believe NM is far superior to a chain grocery store.

Great place to get good meat! Visited family in State college, stopped by on the whim to see what they offered, some of the best steaks I've ever cooked!

Great place always fresh meat. Really like the hamburger and sausage. The prices are really good. We were out for a cruise and grabbed a couple T bones. They were awesome on the grill.

This is my go-to place for meats. The service is wonderful and everyone is so helpful. Our frequent buys are ground chuck, little links, chicken wings, and Leidy’s bacon (best my brother ever had, and he is a bit of a snob, hehe!) Simply the best! The parking lot cracks me up. It’s a free-for-all 😂 As an added perk, they have excellent canned goods from a local lady!

I was visiting from out of state and local family recommended Nittany Meats for a large order of steaks. I called a couple weeks in advance and they were very helpful with selecting the right steaks for my event and preparing my order in advance. We were all impressed with the quality of the t-bones - I have family still talking three days later about it being the best steak they have ever had. Thank you!

This is my go to place for meat. My only complaint is Penns Valley has better chip steak for steak sandwiches. It seems PVMM actually thinly slices the meat and Nittany press forms theirs before slicing making them more of a steak-umm.

The best place ever to meat. The staff are so knowledgeable and extremely helpful and nice. The only place I purchase beef from a store. I also get my boy Carbon a beef stick everytime and if I forget I go back in lol…

Good place, I got my bacon sliced there once. When I asked them if they would slice my smoked pork bellies again they said they couldn’t because they weren’t usda certified or something. It didn’t make sense because they were inspected. I had bought the raw pork bellies at same club. I will not return to this business as they keep giving me excuses.

Some of the nicest people ever! Fresh, quality meats and cheeses at supermarket prices...and I can't help but want to support a small business like this. Truly a great example of how a butcher shop should be.

Great tasting meat. I try to go there for all my steaks, ground beef and sausage, bacon, and all of my cuts for bbq. I get my whole brisket there, pork shoulders, and beef ribs. Delicious and good price.

Good quality, good service

Nittany Meats is how butcher shops use to be in generations past. Most supermarkets do not cut their own meat at individual stores. They usually have a central distribution center that cuts and packages the meat, so your meat is at least one day old before its put in refrigerated cases in the store. At Nittany Meats, what you buy there each day was cut that morning. Special Orders can be handed during the course of the day if you don't mind waiting until they cut it. I have found the meats are every bit as good or better than large supermarket stores and Nittany Meats prices are lower than large supermarket prices. Nittany Meats also handles fresh caught fish on Fridays that absolutely awesome! This is how shops use to be when I grew up, No reasons to shop anywhere else.
