Niskayuna Co-op is a small grocery market located in Albany, N.Y., focusing on providing a variety of fresh produce, high-quality meats, and specialty items with an emphasis on locally sourced and organic products. The business aims to serve the community by offering a personalized shopping experience and a selection of both conventional and organic foods. Despite some customer feedback regarding limited organic options, the co-op is recognized for its butcher section and custom meat cuts.
Niskayuna co-op Albany N.Y market is small and did not have veggies as advertised, the meat selection was adequate, today co-op had short ribs ,I expected more variety of produce which wasn't available, and what was available was too small portions so this was a disappointing trip. The rolls was fresh. Maybe better selection will arrive soon.
Always a great selection of deli food and in the meat dept, however they have their air conditioner so COLDDDDDD it's very hard to enjoy your shopping experience.
The store's selection was outstanding, offering a wide range of fresh produce, high-quality meats, and a delightful assortment of specialty items. Their commitment to locally sourced and organic products impressed me, ensuring I always had access to the freshest and healthiest options. The personalized service continued as they guided me through the store, helping me find everything on my shopping list with ease. I had the opportunity to have Paul Daly help me show me around making my shopping experience so much more memorable.
Great little market, they have everything! And meat dept. is wonderful. Prices competitive with big stores. A wonderful selection of locally produced items.
Nice small grocery. Good selection and decent prices.
It’s nice to have a small local business with some organic/natural products. However, I was disappointed that the organic/natural options were extremely limited. Most of the products I could find were normal grocery store items. It was disappointing to say the least since it’s a “Co-Op”. I didn’t expect it to be as big as the honest weight co-op but it seems to miss the mark.
Love the organic blueberries and Japanese sweet potatoes, Brown Cow maple yogurt, Ronnybrook milk, and granola. The cashier staff are so kind and patient. Lovely selection with a huge variety of high quality and organic foods.
It was not the greatest experience 😕. The employees were unaware of products sold in the co-op. The cashiers were extremely unprofessional and unpleasant. The cashier who assisted me was eating and drinking as if she were on break, although her light was on . I was not asked if I was a member. The other cashier made an odd face as if I didn't belong. I had a better experience with customers than I did with employees. The options for food were subpar. I'll spend my money elsewhere.
Most of the vegetables have been sitting out way too long. Every avocado was rotten.
Our favorite neighborhood shopping spot. Butcher section is the best, they can also do custom cuts to some degree. It’s always quick to get in and out, super convenient. Wish prices were a bit lower.
