My first time going after recommendation from a friend who’s been going there for years. This is now my new go to place for meat. Absolutely love the boxes, picked up the Dinner Deal box for $81, 2 bags green Chile, small salsa, 1/2 lbs bacon and 5 green Chile brawts for $103. The special touch, they walk it out to your car for you! Everyone is super friendly and a place worth coming back to time and time again!

Hands down the absolute best meat market in New Mexico they have freezer packages they help with meal preps that is great The remodel looks amazing and well deserved! Larry is a pillar in the community providing families with high quality meats for generations! I been coming here since I was a little girl now I feed my family from here too! Thank you for the phenomenal customer service throughout the years !

People here are so helpful and friendly. The meat from Nelson's is always fresh and clean. The taste is the best. Prices are far better than the market. Thanks Larry. We always buy our meat at Nelsons.

The remodel is great because there wad no line outside in the current cold weather! The prices are affordable! I purchased a freezer order and a few other things and spent right under $200 but left with 30lbs of meats...Hamburger meat tone steaks, chicken breasts, Stew meat, round steak, Hash browns, butter, green chile sausage which I can not wait to try! I will be back when our freezer needs loaded again!

We stopped here on vacation and grabbed pre-made burgers and rib eye steaks. Both were wonderful and very tasty. They did not have the thickness of steak I wanted in the case, so they cut them for me while I waited and made sure that they were what I wanted. I would recommend this store for anyone who likes good meat/steaks. I did not get any chilies when we were there but they looked incredible. They also carry your order out to the car after you pay.

Love to shop for meats and Green Chili. Staff and Owner Larry Nelson are very Friendly. I've seen posts that they are rude. Never seen that at all. Guess if you go in with negative attitude you get what you put out. Show people respect and you get respect back.

Any meat that I get from Nelson’s is always the best quality! Sometimes I’ll go and spend way too much money! But well worth it! I like the packages that they have as well! I even got some pork chops and the pork chops were way better than the store brand! He even taught me a really cool mixture for marinade! Anyway, anyways, it is my favorite meat in the whole entire world! Just sayin!!!🤷

The staff are super friendly and polite. Loved the new remodel, too! Gotta say, yes! We can get meat cuts a bit cheaper at albertson, Walmart, and Smith's. BUT at Nelson's, you know you are getting something that is handled professionally. Also, Nelson's is a local ownership that has served the local community for so many years. Yup!
