My Butcher at Wading River Market & Deli

Went in for a simple sandwich and drink. The sandwich was salami and cheese on a roll. If they put any less meat and cheese on it I would have driven back and asked for a refund. Three dollars for a small ice tea and two dollars for a spoonful of chickpeas salad. Good luck

What more could I possibly say besides screaming from the rooftops? This is the best place to get catering, fresh quality meats, and so much more. In a time where deli quality has dropped as well as butcher quality you don’t have to worry about this here. Shannon is a phenomenal food purveyor. Providing top qualities service as well as ingredients in all her dishes we’re so glad we found her and stumbled across this gem!

Paid $36 lb for 5 pieces of filet mignon and when I got home I realized they took 2 small pieces and tied them in a circle so that they appeared to be normal sized filet........terrible way to treat customers.

I love the food. The place is fabulous. It’s just put together and it’s very easy to find your food except the lady charged me 599 for a bag of potato chips that I didn’t get otherwise it was delicious.

Once again we went for our yearly trip to Wildwood and our visit to my favorite meat market before we left. Stocked up with NY strip steaks, filet minion, hamburgers, chicken burgers, sausage. Can’t wait to start cooking up those steaks! My family goes to Wildwood State Park once every year for these past 30 years and always make it a point to purchase meats here. And, before we leave we pack a cooler filled with their steaks, chicken burgers, and sausages. Our last visit, the end of July, had a great conversation with the butchers and they know their meat. The filet minion, the Porterhouse steaks were absolutely the best. My only wish is that we had a bigger cooler! Can’t wait to visit next year.

Excellent service and quality meat! If youve never been I would 100% recommend! Their chicken summer sausage is incredible I pick up atleast 2 whenever I go and their chicken pot pies to die for!!!

Excellent customer service! The man that helped us was very kind and attentive, he did a fast and efficient job making my husband and I a sandwich (and might I add, this is one of the best deli sandwiches I've ever had!). The sandwiches are HUGE, and every bite is pure deliciousness. Everything tasted so fresh. No complaints at all, and I will definitely going back for more.

Simply put, this place is the best. Quality meats, the best ingredients and friendly neighborhood service. What more could you want from a local butcher? No matter what you try from soup to salads to sandwiches (and the list goes on and on), nothing ever disappoints. And of course, the meat is truly amazing. If you live nearby and are buying your meat at the supermarket, you are getting ripped off. The quality at My Butcher is unmatched. The store itself is super clean and staff is awesome - extremely friendly and eager to help. The negative reviews on here are in now way indicative of the daily experience at My Butcher - I have been a loyal customer for three years now and have never had an unsatisfying experience. I look forward to shopping at My Butcher for many, many years.

Staff was always nice. No longer shop there. Pricing increased while quality went down. Charged $30 for frozen hamburgers. If I wanted frozen hamburgers, I would have stopped at the supermarket and picked up a box of Bubba burgers for a quarter of the price.

What a gem of a butcher/deli! I'm lucky enough to work out in Wading River, which allows me to stop by for my weekly fixings. The best and most fresh deli salads ever!!!, quality meats, and fresh homemade food. A wonderful and courteous staff, thank you and God bless!

I think they have great meat. The place is super clean and the staff is very friendly and quick! They will also give advice on how to cook their products properly.

I love this place with Rich, Sue & "Mikey..every time I go there, iam treated so kind and knowledgeable. I really haven't had this prime of meat since the military. Was a food inspector so very particular...love u guys

We moved to the area about 2 years ago and have found a home at "The Butchey" as my 4-yr old calls it. Delicious quality products and even better people!

Good selection of steaks and burgers. Salads and cold cuts are always good. They have a nice catering menu as well. We esspecially like their beet salad

This past summer I joined a farmer's market exchange called Farm 2 Kitchen. One of the items they sold was pork, beef and duck bacon. These come frozen in vacuum sealed packaging with a slapped on label that doesn't even say which type of bacon it is nor does it provide a weight or packing date. When I purchased them in June and July they were advertised as 1 pound packages. Just recently (the first week of October 2013) the ad had a typo, it read 12 ounces in one place and 1 pound in another. I contacted a friend who had just recently bought bacon through F2K sometime late August early September with the same 1 pound advertising. She decided to weigh her pack that she still had oin her freezer and it came out to be 8 ounces or so WITH the packaing. SO it prompted me to take my still frozen packages from June and July and weigh them. I came up with 8.2 ounces incluuding the vacuum packaing and tray! When I asked F2K to bring this to My Buthcer's attention they came back with a response stating of that were sorry and if I were to buy from them again they would rectify this issue! WTF??? Are they kidding me??? Stay clear of thieves!

Excellent butcher! Great salads and steaks. Try their teriyaki chicken and steak kabobs. Excellent! Very careful in keeping their customers safe.

I can't even buy meat from the grocery store anymore. Their chicken has really spoiled me! Love this place. Very friendly and an authentic butcher!

Love this spot. I enjoy the way they wrap the meats and it sounds crazy put it's done very neatly where alot of places I go they just throw it in a bag and call it a day.
