The farm is remarkable: solar panels, sheep and lambs, and big dogs all working together in a symbiotic relationship. It was fascinating from an agricultural, scientific, and business perspective. My dad and I stayed at the cabin after a four-course dinner we attended there. It was the perfect way to wind down after an amazing dinner with great company, a fire pit, and all the stars you can hope to see in North Carolina. Joel and his family/team treated us like family.
Wonderful farm to visit! The Farm Manager and his wife were so welcoming. Beautiful place. So many animals to see. We adopted 2 Great Pyrenees puppies that are incredible. The lambs are so sweet. Mr. Olsen, the owner, was very helpful with our puppy adoption. A great experience all around.
Recently came to the farm with my little family and adopted a sweet and healthy female great Pyrenees puppy. The farm is beautiful and the farm manager Lucy was very polite and patient. Joel the owner was very responsive with any questions while waiting for the puppies to arrive.
We recently had the joy of staying 2 nights at the Montgomery Sheep Farm and it was just what the doctor ordered! The farm and accomodations are so serene and restful, yet so very life giving. Deep breaths were abundant here! The accomodations were comfortable and felt like home - and wait til you see the grand kitchen and great room! It is stunning, state of the art, and has every thing you could wish for. The nice facilities and comfy accomodations were only superceded by the hospitality of the hosts. We highly recommend this place for your next "farm experience" get away!
We had the pleasure of visiting the farm and adopting the sweetest little boy Pyrenees puppy! Joel (owner) and Lucy (farm manager) are so gracious and kind and truly a delight to meet. Our kids loved the farm and the animals and are already asking when we can visit again! Rich, Sherri and family.
