Awesome shop here in Montclair with a lot of high quality meats. The owner, Steve, was a highly knowledgeable butcher focusing on whole animal butchery and was really down to earth and helpful. Recommended a picanha amongst other meats that were incredibly flavorful and delicious. Will be back for sure.

The service was top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. The shop itself is immaculately clean and well-organized, making it a pleasure to browse around. The attention to detail in the butchery is impressive, and you can tell that the team takes pride in their work.
Picked up a couple ribeyes here for Father’s Day. The butcher was super helpful and kind, and freshly cut me a couple ribeyes to order. Absolutely delicious. Better quality and better price than Whole Foods or anywhere in town. We will definitely be back.
By far the best butcher shop in town! You can really taste the freshness of the beef, which I appreciate. I stock up on ground beef and burgers every week, and every now and then I’ll pick up different cuts of steak for the weekend. The customer service is also great, which is a big plus. Once you shop here, you’ll keep coming back!

Did not realize the time a came by just as they were closing on Sunday. They asked me to come in and spent the time needed to help me and prepare my order. Its customer service at its best.
So psyched that Montclair Meats opened so close to me. The beef cuts and bacon were amazing and fairly priced! We get excited when we are stopping by this butcher for dinner because we know that night we are eating WELL! Even our dog loves the dried butchery treats! Highly recommend.
