Misty Meadow Farm Creamery

What a cool little place!! My wife and I stopped by for the first time today. This place is family-owned and we met the father, son, and a niece. What a delightful family. The ice cream was something that surpassed expectations! Try the chocolate decadence, almond coconut, or the biscotti crumble - there were at least a dozen more we would have tried!!

I don’t live in the area, but it’s not to far a drive from where I live. It’s a great place to spend the day with your little ones for an ice cream treat. They can run off all that sugar afterwards with the play area on the property. It’s also amazing because they have farm animals present which is always a win for toddlers. The ice cream truly is the best!

The store itself isn't very big but offers behind the counter a wide selection of ice cream flavors, non-dairy fruit sorbet, wine sorbet 🍷, coffee, and hot food such as BBQ🍔(beef, ham, steamers, etc), hotdogs🌭, chili🌶️🫘, soups🍲, etc. The blueberry lemon ice cream had whole frozen berries in it which was super refreshing and cooling to bite into 🫐🍋🧊🍦 Not a fan of enduring the heat to get your ice cream🥵? You are in luck! Come in on a day it is rainy🌧️ or snowy❄️ and get your second scoop of ice cream free!🍦🍦 In front of the counter you will find eggs🥚, milk🥛, cheese curds🧀, cheese cake🍰, frozen meat🥩, glass bottle sodas (They had CHEERWINE Y'All!!🍒🥤), toys🚜, shirts, jams, crackers, and more. We will try the BBQ next time for sure 😁 The building features a wraparound porch with plenty of covered benches and tables (adult and kid size and even a highchair). Across the parking lot has a covered pavilion with several more tables all with a napkin dispensers as well. Outside you have beautiful mountain scenery and plenty of areas for the kids to play. The playground offered way more than I was expecting. There's a petting zoo area with chickens🐓 goats 🐐miniature horses🐎 donkeys 🫏and sheep🐑, structures to climb, two slides🛝🛝, a butterfly garden 🦋, a maze game, gazebo, photo ops, and even an arena full of trikes🚲 and Little tikes cars 🚗 to Peddle/walk around. My 2 year old had soooo much fun in the Little tikes car lol. There's even an educational covered area with interactive displays about farming. Oh, and of course, you can't leave without waving bye to all the cows 🐮🐄🐮🐄🐮🐄🐮🐄

We have lived in the area for a little over a year now and just got a chance to go to Misty Meadows. This is a perfect place to let your children run and play. My younger two are runners and climbers so everything there they enjoyed! The animals are all sweet and my kids loved interacting with them. Towards the end of our visit we sat down to have some ice cream. I have tried many store brands before but I must say there is something that just hits different with fresh ice cream. It was amazing and so many flavors to choose from. Thank you Misty Meadows for a lovely day and sharing all of this with the community!!!

We’ve been here several times and this is the first time I tried the ice cream sandwich. 2 homemade chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream and sprinkles. DELICIOUS! 11/10 would recommend.

Great atmosphere for the kids. Delicious ice cream. Friendly staff. Good prices. I go to pay and see a political sign I pretty much agreed with, but at the bottom it says that if I don't, there's the door. Now that's just impolite. I thought the one thing we Americans could still agree on was relaxing on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, and enjoying some tasty ice cream with your family. Oh well, I guess that's another thing we've lost that's probably not coming back.

Our favorite place to just relax.. enjoy the beautiful mountain view.. & of course eat the best ice-cream we've ever had anywhere!! The grandkids LOVE it too! & they always have a BLAST playing on all the amazing playgrounds & enjoying all the farm animals! It's become a weekly tradition for us❣️

Very good ice cream. They have some unique flavors. I typically get the chocolate cake flavor. The inside is pretty much just for ordering your ice cream or food. Lots of tables and areas outside to sit. Also have farm animals to visit with and some outdoor activities. They have some pedal trikes the kids can play on and some othe things to climb on and play. Its worth a stop every now and then.

I wanted this place to be cute. In my opinion the little bridge leading to the play area was brittle and seem like it would break any sec. The butterfly garden was super cute but we had trouble even walking through it. Definitely needs cleaned up. Just the walking path. We got ice cream which in my opinion for a kids size was super expensive for just one tiny tiny scoop. I personally wont run back but its worth stopping to form your own opinion.

Cute petting zoo area, fun little tractor tricyle track for kids to ride on, a butterfly garden, and a few more fun little areas for all ages. Ice Cream is fantastic with many different flavors! I recommend stopping if you've never been and want to try something new for you and your family!

Fantastic ice cream and much more. They have a very nice petting zoo with a variety of animals. There are some different mazes. The scenery is beautiful. You have all that with friendly service. It is all free, except the ice cream.

Family-owned farm to creamery with plenty of flavor options. Nice outdoor seating area on the porch. You can see them bottling their milk products as well, which is neat.

Adorable place!! Ice cream is delicious and they also offer other goodies inside the store. The staff was very friendly. There’s plenty of outdoor playgrounds/play areas for kids and sweet animals to interact with. The scenery is gorgeous. Only short coming was there were not actual bathrooms, just portapottys.

Ice cream made right there. Local owned, clean and friendly staff. Plenty for children to do, small animal farm, bikes, scooters, and bridge. Beautiful foliage to look at. Also in the late summer they have sunflower field. Many photo opportunities as well. Ice cream is amazing. Also sell products that they make there too.
