We go for the sheepdog trials every year. Our favorite day is the Thursday, the novice dogs are so much more entertaining.
Great open space and good viewing positions for spectators of the shepherding competition. Organizers had traffic and parking organized well.
A good spot for birdwatching and I think the annual sheepdog fest is here too.
