Misty Brook Farm

If you want some organic beef, and pork, and you find yourself passing thru Albion Maine, then this place is worth the quick stop. They also sell raw milk, and fresh eggs. Cash only business. No room for wheel chairs, it's an a working farm.

When I got there, it did not seem welcoming to the public. I did not even see the store until I turned around and passed it again. There were several pieces of farm equipment in the dooryard, which would be great for the kids. I arrived on the Saturday because the Real Maine website said it was open for Open Farm Day, but from looking at it, I feel they were only expecting people on the Sunday. Fortunately it was not TOO far from my house and it was a great day for a drive, so it was not a complete loss.

We bought bratwurst from Beech Hill Farm while staying in MDI. We love brats and eat them regularly at home. While visiting we wanted to support local. We grilled the brats and maybe that was our mistake? However, we’ve done it plenty of time before with other local farms back home. Unfortunately they were incredibly dry and tasted like a sausage rather than a brat. We were disappointed as they were $23 for the 4 pack. Hoping this was a one off, as it looks like there are great reviews. Sharing our experience.

Misty Brook is the nicest organic farm I know of. The people are great and their products are fantastic. You can go right to the farm day or night and on a honor System you can purchase fresh raw organic grass-fed milk milk and a wide array of organic grass-fed Frozen cuts of meat chicken beef pork and more. Their products are now available in some local co-ops. If you're traveling through in nice weather great place to stop with the family. pet some pigs look at some chickens.

Could be the best raw milk I’ve ever had. Their raw cream was a homerun as well- super thick. Ground beef, mutton & veal were all fantastic. We’ll be back this week.

Brendan & Katia (and the entire Misty Brook team) are widely beloved & respected for their commitment to providing delicious and healthy dairy, meat, and veggies to the neighbors. Their experiences with PFAS contamination have made Misty Brook a pioneer in how farms can remediate these "forever chemicals," and continue offering the best quality farm products. The Farm Store is an absolute delight, and I for one am grateful for its (slight) remoteness - there's hardly ever a line for what is hands down the best milk I've ever had.

My mistake, I meant to leave my review for another establishment and I accidentally left it for this hardworking farm. Sorry I noticed two years later. This farm is fantastic. Best milk and eggs. 5 stars

I am so glad I learned about this place from my farming companion. Best bacon ever!!! Absolutely worth the trip. It's self serve, so they rely on the honor system. Be nice!!! Bring lots of cash, and if you're really thinking ahead, bring a cooler with ice! So many good products.

Absolutely great milk! My wife and I are from Pennsylvania and recently moved to this area. We used to live next door to an organic jersey grass fed dairy farm. This milk is definitely THE best we’ve had up here. It’s hard to find a milk of this quality, and I truly appreciate and understand the work and care that goes into obtaining a product of this quality. Thank you!

Went for the first time a few weeks ago. Have been enjoying the bacon, Canadian bacon, lamb and more. The shaved steak was amazing.
