I've been getting Mint Creek Farm's meat CSA for 2 months. The quality of meat is really high, and there's a great variety of different cuts. I love being inspired every week and cooking new dishes. Plus, it's really easy to add a specific cut or other items and each week and get it all delivered at the same time. The employees are easy to work with too!
I have been getting meat through their CSA program for the past 3 months. Everything has been super easy and I love the creative roulette. Quality>quantity. It's not cheap but they do it the right way. You can see the difference in the meat when you cook it. Delicious.
The turkey was outstanding. This was our first purchase from Mint Creek Farms and we will be trying other items from there store. We also used the-recipe we found on there website, our turkey turned out perfectly. It was cooked to perfection. Moist, juicy, tender and delicious! This was our first fresh not frozen bird and now we are spoiled. Nothing compares to this. What's even better is it's a local farm that has very high standards of raising and slaughtering the animals. This farm should be given 10 stars. Looking forward to trying some other meats and fresh eggs.
Avoid avoid avoid. Communicating with this farm is like pulling teeth. I placed an order 4/30/22 and provided them my desired cuts. On 6/3:22 I received an email with an invoice stating “Apologies on my delayed response! I just checked in with the team and it will be two weeks to shipping. We also have an extra fee of $50 for shipping such a large order. Unfortunately our website only collects a flat rate!”
We bought a NY strip from the Evanston farmers market and when we got home we realized it was only 5.5 oz of steak for $28 or about $80 a lb! Just far too expensive imo….
Their stand at Lincoln park farmers market is amazing. The breakfast sandwich with sausage and veggies with cherry bomb hot sauce is probably one of the top bfast sandwiches I've ever had!
The highest quality meat you will get in the Chicago area, the delivery option is great and they have a great selection.
Love your liver!! Beef, lamb and chicken. Tastes wonderful and great it is all from grass fed humanely treated animals!
Mint Creek has some of the highest standards for their farm that I’ve seen! Their dedication to regenerative farming is truly unmatched. Best in the Midwest!

They don’t answer the phone I tried to call 2 many time. No body answer the phone ….no good
Way too expensive for what you get
