The ONLY place I will purchase meats from! My family has been going for over 30yrs! I especially love the black nugget marinated strip steaks and their ground round is ground fresh daily and so lean! Everything I've ever purchased has been excellent. If you go you MUST try their bacon! You can choose from garlic, black pepper, hickory smoked or bacon ends! You will not be disappointed!
Shop local at Miller’s Meats!! Great prices, and they have amazing steaks, the best bacon, and the smoked salmon is to die for! I also loooove when they have fresh eggs and that they are also starting to carry some greens and veggies too.
I love to make bacon candy with the hickory smoked thick cut bacon. Just mix up some brown sugar and cayenne pepper, press one side of the bacon into the sugar mixture, lay it sugar side up on a baking sheet and bake @ 375 till its crisp. Drain on paper towels and let cool to room temperature. Go ahead and try to eat just one! OMG YUM!
Butcher Louis was extremely helpful! He made a great smoking recommendation for me. Set aside the meat. Called to remind me. Gave me perfect smoking instructions. I was very pleased with the great level of service. They also had amazing premade meatloaf and queso dip.
The best thick sliced bacon I've found. Smoked peppered turkey Breast...oh wow. Always the freshest of meats & marburger dairy products. The staff is always super friendly & professional. The owners are very nice people to know answer any question you have. There prices are right on. As long as they keep it that way this place will be A1 in my book.
They have the best smoked bacon! It’s the right amount of thickness for anything you need, tastes great on sandwiches, for breakfast. It’s perfect for all of your bacon needs🤤 …
UPDATE: I had been a loyal customer of this store for over three years since I returned to living in Butler. I would stop in usually twice a week and spend about $50 each visit, as I couldn't really carry more than that would buy while riding in my wheelchair. I always had a cordial relationship with the staff, they seemed helpful and friendly. They would help me enter the store by opening the door so that my wheelchair could get inside. They would also put my purchases into the bag attached to the back of my wheelchair. Then one day I asked for one pound of extra sharp cheddar cheese. An employee cut it for me and wrapped it up. After paying nearly $10 for one pound of this cheese, I went home, where I discovered that somehow I had gotten what was plainly yellow american cheese by mistake. I went back the next day to let them know about the error. I had never returned a product here before. This time the older woman (an owner?) was there, and I told her of the mix up. She, without even looking at the cheese in my outstretched hand, told me that it was in fact extra sharp cheddar, that I was mistaken, and that it looks like that because it's the way their customers like the extra sharp cheddar cheese. Never mind that I've bought extra sharp cheddar cheese from them a number of times in the past and that it isn't very hard to tell those two types of cheese apart. She then mentions that they serve a drier extra sharp cheddar cheese but that it must be specially requested, something I had never done in the past. An awkward silence hung between us for a little while before she suggested that she could exchange for the special cheddar if I'd like. I smiled at her and said, "That would be nice, thank you." She took the cheese from my hand and tossed it, without even looking at it, into a trash can at the end of the meat display cases. In a huff she then turned and stomped her way to the area where they slice the cheese. As she prepared the slicer, she started tossing things around and banging pans, an odd tantrum considering the minor inconvenience and obvious mix up. She stomped her way back down the length of the store and handed me the cheese. I said thank you and I haven't been back since. If this woman is going to act so unprofessionally and throw away a friendly relationship with a loyal returning customer of over three years because of a mix up with one pound of yellow american cheese, then she doesn't deserve my business nor any business at all. When I've told friends of this experience, they've said that I should have taken the cheese and immediately tossed it into the trash right in front of her out of spite. It didn't occur to me at the time but that would have probably been more cathartic. New Review: Good food, reasonable prices, terrible, nasty staff. I will never go back. ----- Great food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff. I go there often.
I've been a customer for over 20 years for both business and personal. This is a great local company for fresh meats. The hot sausage is well known in the area to be some of the best around, and their cheeses are very good and also very affordable.
I buy all of my meats and cheeses at Miller's. Most of the standard meats are literally fresh off the bone as the butchers who just cut it deliver it to the front counters. The prices are unbeatable. Miller's also has a few specialty items they produce themselves. I consider their meat sticks a staple of my diet. The atmosphere is old school small town Main Street. It regularly becomes a very social place when it's busy and staff obviously takes pride in the products and services they provide. Miller's understands that if not for the customer they would not have a job. Such qualities of life are becoming lost in this world and Miller's makes me proud to be a Butlerite.
Tried to make the switch from using the Farmers Market to Miller's but they don't have consistency in what they carry. I buy certain cuts every week and what they have differs week to week. It's a shame because it's definitely closer for me and would be a $50-$100 customer every week. Oh well, Farmer's Market always has what I need.
Very tasty cheddar cheese and butter. Great selection of meats also. I hope they can rise from the ashes like a Phoenix I've seen businesses bounce back from worse fires. #Quality
I have been to the markek for over 40 years and they have provided consistantly wonderful service and tasty products. Their Italian Hot Sausage is out of this world and their other produce, meats and cheeses are of great quality. A great place to get your ingredients for your next party.
My experience was okay. Complaint is that there is very little labeling. They have standard size sheets of paper with small lettering to show what they have. No labels in front of the meat in the glass to show what you are looking at. …
Best place in town to buy meat. Prices are unbeatable, quality is above anywhere else in town and the people who work there are helpful and professional. …
OK, I never give five stars. I mean ever. However this place is the greatest! There chorizo is off the stinking hook. And their meat prices are the best! The wait staff is knowledgeable quick and friendly. Absolutely must shop here or I will be angry with you!
See I like the meat and the people are friendly. But there Google listing says they are open till 630 I arrived at 545 to buy lunch meat after a long drive home from work and there door says 6:00 they close , so I go inside and they already …
WOW the Valentines Day special of Filet mignon and jumbo shrimp has proved itself as the perfect gift. Great service, good prices and the best quality! THANK YOU!
Best place to get real food from in town. Respectably sized produce section (eat your greens lol), choice cheeses, and of course as much meat as you could want. You can find a frozen seafood or two there, too.
The market has gone down hill in the last few months. No fresh salads, chicken wasn't fresh. Shelves were almost empty. It's the only place in the city of Butler to buy fresh meat and there isn't any . What's going on?
OUTSTANDING service! This was my first time stopping here and Matt was fantastic. They have a great selection, very clean store and again the service was a 10. For that alone I will definitely be returning. Great people.
