I've had 2 not so great experiences with Mema's Meats. The last time really is just unacceptable. I purchased half a cow from my cousin that they were going to process for me, I told them specifically that it was extremely important to me that I get a prime rib roast instead of steaks... I ended up getting 4 ribeye steaks, not 4 packages, 4 steaks and no roast at all and no explanation as to where my roast or at least the rest of my steaks were! I live several hours away, I met my cousin in Minot to get the bags of meat, so I didn't find out until I got home. So disappointing.
Very good quality steaks and burger. Huge variety of different flavors of jerky and beef sticks, which are all amazing. Very friendly people, very nice shop, and great service. You can find them out at events and shows to sample and purchase products!
Very friendly atmosphere. Great choice of meats. We will have to make another trip to try different sausages, bacons, beef and bison jerkys.
First can I say I love when an owner is present at their business. It was great meeting her. The place was clean. The store was merchandised well, making it easy to shop. Competitive pricing. The dill pickle jerky is great thanks for running into the back and grabbing me some. See you next time.
If you like good meat then this is your place. Awesome cuts and lots of special packages, jerky, sausages, bacon, meat sticks. You name it. Great place to shop
Woohoo!!!! They have EVERYTHING, even oxtail. Its cheaper to buy from them then to wait certain days for a restaurant to serve them and it'll cost just a few dollars more than that plate. Thank you Mema!!!!
This meat shop is always a treat to visit. I'm always impressed with the variety and fair prices. A jewel in the prairie and worth the drive.

First time there and I am impressed. Friendly staff and clean. I was impressed I beleive he was the owner explaining the process and what' is put into the meat and smoking it to a customer. They have a unique and different types of flavor beef sticks and sausage rings. My daughter very rarely eats sausage rings but she said it was the best she ever had and would eat that again ( smoked pork sausage) I'm from over 100 miles away and my wife said I have approval to travel that far to get more😊
