Craig and staff are great! If you’re looking for a top notch processor , this is your guy! He takes care of the animals and makes sure they have the best ending possible! He has butchered lamb and hogs for us and some of our customers and he has done an awesome job! The meat you drop off to him is the meat you get back from him! He is an artist in his profession. He is easy to schedule with, helps with any questions, and is just pleasant to be around And know!

This review is not based on using the meat processing service, which we have not done, but on visiting the farm, learning about it during a farm tour, and meeting the family/owner. The facility was clean and currently in the process of being upgraded. We were glad to hear about their sustainable farming and humane processing practices. This is a wonderful family-run business serving needs in their community.

This place is a hidden gem!!! If you’re looking for a processor that takes care and time to make sure your meat is top notch… this is your place!!! We have had several 🐖 processed, BY BIG PROCESSING FACILITIES, but never have been as happy as we were with Melvin Hill Meats. The product was packaged beautifully, and let me tell ya the sausage flavoring is top notch!!! It was our first time using Melvin Hill Meats and upon arriving I was excited to see how clean everything was. From the unloading area to the processing area and the store, it was immaculate and tidy. We have used other processors and the loading area has been unkempt. Very knowledgeable, it had been a few years since a 🐖was processed, but he helped us thru the process. Plus the seasonings are made in house. On our order we got mild Italian, bratwurst and breakfast sausage. They are delicious. Also tried his curry and will be ordering with next pig that seasoning. Thank you for taking great care of us and our order! We will be back!!!!!!!!

I just purchased an 1/8 share of a cow and went to pick it up at the farm this past week. Craig greeted me and was very friendly and cool, and made the process very easy and accommodating. We now have a freezer full of meat, bones, suet & organs. We tried a Ribeye for dinner last night and it’s the best steak I’ve had in a long time! The meat was tender and delicious! I highly recommend Melvin Hill Meats, and plan on buying more here in the future!

We love the meat produced by Craig and Abby and the rest of the crew at Melvin Hill Meats. It tastes so much better than store bought beef or pork and is worth the investment. It feels good to eat well and support a small family doing farming in a sustainable, small, and kind way.

I took a deer to Craig for a euro mount and processing. He was very responsive. He has the skill/capabilities to process meat in a variety of ways. It was great to have so many options. Meat was neatly packed and excatly what I was expecting. The euro mount that he completed for me looks great. I can not wait to put it on the wall.
