Meatting (pun intended😀) was one of the best wrong turns I accidentally made in my life! Absolutely love this place! The owner is straight forward, no bars hold truthful and honest. His crew of dedicated workers always do their best. Definitely a must stop place! They are a custom butchery. Get the cuts you want from the beef, pork or venison you bring in or have delivered. Love the new items they are offering for beef jerky and smoked sausage logs. The best I've ever had. I was lucky enough to be there while they were trying some new recipes that they are considering offering to people. It a bacon burger hamburger. So the bacon is already added to the hamburger. This gives it a wonderful flavor and cuts your prepping time in half! They also started offering classes for basic quarter butchery for deer during the season. They will teach you a valuable skill! How to skin and quarter. Proper meat handling so your deer isn't full of fecal and hair. They are a treasure find in my book! love them😍

Purchased another side of beef from The Meat Garden Butcher, hosted Mother's Day and grilled a variety of the steaks. They were perfection, just melted in your mouth. Thank you Meat Garden! We'll definitely purchase another side! The owner and staff were knowledgeable, professional and great to work with!

I never use a butcher, I want my own meat back. I quarter and debone my owner deer, and spend way too long grinding and packaging the hamburger. Took them all my meat for them to grind and package. Got my meat back, very nice guys. Highly recommend. Won't be grinding my own anymore, definitely go back next year.

Great friendly service. Everything was done how I requested. Place was clean, had a nice driveway to back into for easier loading. They kept me well informed on the cow, quality of meat, and options for different cuts. The cow ended up being on the smaller end, but that was alright because they told me ahead of time. I was able to keep neck bones, soup bones, oxtails, offal, etc. Everything was clearly labeled and loaded into cardboard boxes that conveniently fit right into my chest freezer. They'll process your deer when you hunt, too! When it comes to butchers, I always like to try the local option first and I wasn't disappointed. If you're in the area and don't have a good butcher, I suggest you check them out. UPDATE 2022: I've used these guys for a few years now. They are integral to my life now. I'm always greeted with a smile. Things are always how I request them. I ordered my most recent cow up, and then right before it was ready for pickup I broke my leg. Right at the start of marching band season so my teen son was often busy, and hubby was often deployed. They offer some freezer space rental, so after explaining my predicament we arranged for me to keep the meat there and pay a monthly fee and I could pick up as needed until I was able to arrange the full pickup. I really felt like they cared and went out of their way to help me as they could during that time. It's a great butcher shop populated with good people, and that is a rare find these days! I loved them the first time, and I feel they've only gotten better.
