Maynard’s Triple M

I am not sure where to begin with this review. We have stayed at A LOT of VRBO rentals over the years. Many bigger, some fancier/nicer, BUT, this was our favorite stay in a LONG time. We stayed here for a week to do a “working vacation”, and check out some homes for sale in the area. If you want to be smack dab in the middle of 155 acres of pristine cattle pasture/farm land, then stay here. For our family of 6, it was definitely tight, especially being there so much during the week to work. But for a smaller family/couple this would be ideal. The cabin is a little older and it does show, but it was a very accommodating stay. We enjoyed a bonfire, watching sunsets, listening to cows, and watching a working farm in action. Amy was very quick to respond to our wifi problems, and to assist with any items we needed. The best part for us and our kids was meeting and falling in love with their dogs, especially Elli the Great Dane. We are so thankful for our stay, and if we do move to the area I will definitely be purchasing our next whole beef from them.

This is my new favorite place! The pictures are from two trips, my husband and I took, to this farm. We booked a weekend getaway, through Airbnb. Not only is this the most beautiful place we’ve had the pleasure of visiting, the owners are very kind and welcoming. Their hard work, shows in every aspect of this working farm. We were able to do a tour, this last visit. We went for Valentine’s Day then in mid April, for my birthday. It was much warmer and greener this time. The tour, was guided by Amy. She’s kind, very intelligent and knows her animals as if they were her own children. She was so patient with us, and answered our million questions. The cabin we stayed in, overlooks most of the property. We can see the beautiful land, rolling hills, all the fluffy cows, dogs and occasional deer. We counted 9 deer grazing right in front of our window one morning. They also welcomed us, driving in, on our most recent visit. This is a place I will always love! The cabin is PERFECT for girls trips, couples, small families etc. Its beautiful and perfectly cozy! Stocked with everything you need, while there. I highly recommend inquiring about tours, farm to table meals etc. Just make sure you leave this beautiful place the way you found it. I can honestly say, I had the best Valentines and Birthday EVER! You will not regret any business you do, with these people! Even if it’s just a relaxing weekend and feeding a Wookiee. 💕

We bought our first two heifers from Triple M. Amy was second to none with her service and care for us and our situation. She continues to answer any question we may have and is dedicated to quality. You can’t go wrong with Maynard’s Triple M!

I first contacted Amy back in Aug of 2024. What a breath of fresh air she was from the start. Someone who was open and willing to talk with me and help get me started on my Highland journey. Little Peanut caught my eye from the very beginning and we started the process to have him join our farm here in Kentucky in February of 2025. I went and visited him a few times over the 6 mo and each time Amy was so welcoming and took us around the whole farm, getting up close and personal with her beautiful herd. She has a love and dedication that is not seen often enough and every conversation and interaction we have had with her has been amazing. She is helpful informative and willing to answer any question you may have. We finally got to bring our Peanut home this past weekend, and I am so in love with this little guy! He has clearly had the best of care, and is settling in so well here. We are already in the process of bringing home a little Highland heifer this coming May, and can’t wait for Polly to join Peanut! You will not be disappointed with the quality and communication you receive from Amy! I cannot recommend Maynard’s Triple M highly enough! The Maynard family and their farm and cabin are absolutely wonderful! We highly recommend the farm tour!! The cows and Athena the horse were so much fun to experience! We had such a great experience purchasing from Triple M Highland Beef. They are great to work with, have excellent communication and quick shipping to Colorado. We love the beef! From the tender juicy steaks, the flavorful roasts, or ground beef you can't go wrong. You can truly taste the love and care they provide their cattle. We are greatful to have found this farm and highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality beef.

We have been purchasing Highlander beef from Amy for 2 years now and I don’t think we could ever go back. Nothing can compare to the quality of meat you get with Maynard’s Triple M!! The price of her packages are great for our budget and are always large enough to fill our freezer for months!! We’ve had her ship meet to us even though we’re just a few hours away and it always comes frozen and packaged very well. We’ll continue to purchase meat from Amy until she runs out!! Thanks Amy!

This beef is grass fed and is the ultimate in beef. We are spoiled against any other. It is lean, flavorful and is well packaged. Their farm practices maintain a high level of animal welfare and also protect the environment. I highly recommend this beef.

My husband and I had purchased a quarter from Amy, and we immediately thawed two Rib Steaks. We pan sauteed them in brown butter with the steaks lightly seasoned with salt and pepper, cooked them to med rare, and we both looked at one another dumbfounded. It was by far the best steak we have ever had. We have tried prime Angus, wagyu etc...but Nothing compares to the flavor, tenderness and melt in your mouth feel of the Highland beef. We look forward to Triple M being our beef supplier for our family moving forward.

I highly recommend Maynard's Triple M farm. Amy is amazing to work with. We got our highland heifer "Joy" from Triple M. Joy is a high quality animal with the most amazing personality, she truly is a Joy :)
