Wonderful meat market in Central/ Lufkin. Great customer service with the ability to call in orders for lots of different things in advance. For large orders, they will vacuum seal the meats so you can place the freezer for extended periods. Additionally, if you have livestock you'd like to slaughter, they can take care of this for you as well.
They have friendly people, great steaks and good prices. Better than eating out.
Best deer meat , ribeye steaks and friendly service
Massingill’s is an excellent meat market. Very clean and has a large selection of meats to choose from. I think their homemade sausage is the best, my cousin JD Olford turned me on to them about 20 years ago. I've made the drive to Lufkin to purchase these sausages for years.
I'm super critical when it comes to meat. Massingill’s Meat Market is by far the best in the part of Texas. They always are friendly, their service is top notch. They remember what their customer's prefer and the quality of the meat is top notch. I like to make jerky in bulk and when I call in, Jeff takes care of the order and cuts it to perfection. Took great care of us. They waited so I could get there to pick up my meat even though they were just closeing. It is the little details like that which will keep me coming back.
We discovered this meat market for the first time and picked up a few steaks and sausage. The meat was fresh and very favorful. The German sausage is a huge hit with our family, with requests to stock up the freezer! The steaks grilled up beautifully. So happy to find a meat market that cuts steaks to a generous thickness. (our dog was very happy with the bones) Thank you for all of your help. We look forward to many years of good quality meat!
