Marzolf Meats

Not a lot of communication, nor do you get a list of what you actually got once you pick it up. The cuts though are solid so far that ive had. My NY strip could've been cut better but I give it 3 stars.

After having one conversation with Darron on the phone, I decided to hire him to butcher two pigs my daughters had raised. I was impressed by the knowledgeable he has about livestock in general and then with the amount of knowledge and experience he has with butchering livestock. Whether on the phone to discuss the process, dropping the pigs off at his site, communicating the cut and wrap instructions to finally picking up the meat at his butcher shop, everything went smoothly. He genuinely enjoyed sharing his perspective when I asked for suggestions on cuts and it is obvious he enjoys his job and working with customers. He has an organized butcher shop and I left with confidence that our animals and meat were handled professionally. I won’ hesitate to use him again to butcher our livestock in the future.

Darren is a meat genius. He killed it! Seriously, nicely packaged and cut our quarter beef.

Not sure what’s up with these reviews. They did a great job on our cow and got it to us quickly. Used a handy google form to get our cutting preferences making it super simple and convenient. Definitely will call them again.

Update its not been 4 months and still getting the same answer. I do not teccomend this place if you are hoping to get anything back in a reasonable time. I'm very disappointed. I've asked for a refund. Update. Its been almost 3 months and I have not received my bacon. I have reached out a few times and my husband has called with no response. This is detrimental to our buisness. I hope they can make it right and ill change my rating. Marzloff has been the best butcher to work with. As a first time butchering they walked me through everything. They even taught me about cuts and farming. They were responsive and quick with our meat. I really enjoyed my experience working with them! They will be my go to for all butchering !

Great job of butchering the hog, terrible customer service, difficult to find and rude when asking for directions. When I finally got there it became quite obvious that Bart is an older gentleman who doesn't have much patience with the phone, or any modern technology. Which is fine, I will be more prepared next time.

we used Darin for 4 years, first 2 were excellent, 3rd year he dropped the ball, lots of fat, bad cuts, wife took pictures, 4th year he promised to cut it himself, sadly he failed, more fat, bad cuts, wow, paying more for custom work that isn't custom, and isn't responding to texts.

Marzolfs Meats has been the best company to do business with. They are respectful, kind, and soft spoken. The whole butchering process was so easy and comfortable. They were very respectful of our animals. Also the meat we baught from them aside from the butchering process was the best rib roast we have ever had. I will be using them in the years to come. Thank you so much Marzolfs Meats for putting out and amazing product as well as being the professionals you are.

Do not under any circumstances use this company they refused to return phone calls, they charge you for product and then they never deliver! the most terrible experience I’ve ever dealt with! Absolutely find another butcher- meat processor. you’ll regret using Marzolf meats!

I've had Bart slaughter and cut several pigs, a lamb and two beef. All my delaings with the Marfolfs have been very professional and my meat was cut and wrapped with "old school" skill. The Marzolfs always make us feel like family when we are there. As for the weird cuts...they were all there and still in my freezer - I'm still trying to figure out what to do with them. His sausage was the best I've had. I would never use another slaughter/butcher. I highly recommend Bart.

Rude. Rude on the phone when I didn't understand a question, rude when I picked up the meat. They wheeled a cart outside and an employee started to help load my trunk from the bottom shelf. I'm tall I started loading from the top shelf. Next thing I know another employee comes outside scolding me for loading meat off the cart that wasn't mine. How was I suppose to know what was or wasn't mine? Why didn't the employee loading my car tell me? Why are they pushing somebody else's meat outside into the parking lot?

Brought my whitetail deer here this season, was about 82lbs. I chose all the steaks, some sausage, and the rest as pepperoni. The pepperoni took awhile but was absolutely delicious, I will be coming back next year!

Great place to go, I've never taken animals to the butcher before and said as much when I spoke to Bart, he was happy to help me and gave me exactly what I asked for. Great people!
