Ordered a quarter cow. When I got home, I was thinking it was not very much meat for what I paid. I couldn’t calculate the weight because it is not printed on package. Sure enough, a month later they called and said they forgot to give me a whole tray of hamburger which I bet was close to 100lbs. I went in and got some chicken breast and brats for another $50. No discount for making me drive another 30 mins there and back, another 1hr 30 mins out of my day. All I got was a sorry. Better customer service would be advised especially if you want return customers. I really don’t like how u can’t tell how much something weighs. Good meat though!

It’s a drive from just about anywhere, but well worth it. I come from Osceola for, what the server described, salt and pepper sausage. I asked for breakfast sausage. Always wondered where the pancake breakfast events got the greatest sausage in the world and now I know! They have a wide variety of spreads, I make special trips just for the Jalapeno variety. Place is extremely clean, staffers very friendly, accommodating and attentive and I don’t care how much I spend I always feel that for what I got on product and experience I didn’t pay enough.

Easy assess to and away from store. Great selections and staff were very happy to help. Prices were what you’d expect for fresh meat. I was frustrated with a 80lb chicken order that was for fresh chicken and when I went to pick it up it was frozen. Not sure how I’m to divide it up before putting it in the freezer. Huge mistake in this store. Now I have two 40lb chunks or chicken meat. The only way I’m going to get it and use it is to saw chunks off as I need it.

Martin’s Custom Butchering is a family owned business that has been in the area for decades. Their select of beef, poultry and pork is not vast or fancy, but it is of high quality and fresh. The staff is always friendly and eager to help you. And they seem willing to customize your request which in my opinion, is the true definition of a butcher shop. In addition the carry a good selection of frozen meat products as well. There is also a good selection of sauces and rubs to enhance your selection. However, the meat is so fresh, rubs and sauces are rarely needed. Martin’s is off the beaten path, so keep an eye out for the sigh where to turn. You will not be disappointed with your find.

Hands down the best butcher shop around. Always friendly and there wide selection and quality are top notch.

Can be crowded. Had to walk out because the wait would have been too long. Inside is 1st class. Need to work on your Syracuse location.

I normally give them a 5 star rating, but I was disappointed today. I picked up my 40 lbs of chicken thighs, expecting 4 10 pound bags. NO. It was all frozen into a 40 pound lump. What am I supposed to do with this mess? I'll have to thaw the whole lump, cook it, then re-freeze it in batches. UGH!!!

I normally give more stars than this, but I was dissatisfied with the seni annual chicken sale. We have ordered fresh chicken during the sale for several years... But this year we were sadly disappointed..... $200.00 worth of chicken thighs. That was two 40 lb. Boxes of meat. They were frozen, 2 solid boxes of ice!! Altogether! No four 10 lb bags of fresh chicken that we normally get! I tried thawing in the refrigerators that we had, but in the thawing process they were suspect. Ended up throwing them both out. I dont want to gamble with my family. Very disappointed and probably won't buy the chicken sale again. Very dissatisfied.... If I would have known they were solid blocks of ice, I would not have taken them.

We have been using Martin's for years to butcher our beef and they are consistently excellent.

Nice place to shop for meat and other grocery items.

I don't have a lot of issues, but the last time I ordered my beef, they did package it wrong. I'm also not sure if they gave me the correct cuts. We had a younger girl take down the ordered.

Don't sleep on them because it's not in the city. If you know what you want they can probably hook you up. People come from a long way to shop there so unless you like waiting early is best. Not enough marbling in the steaks for me but at least they can cut to spec if you are picky

Great service! Very organized! Huge selection of items all homemade! I bought some beef jerky, 3 types of cheeses and even some fudge. Will definitely be returning soon.

Good quality and nice place but only reason I give three stars is because every time that I go prices raise up and down like oil. I don’t know who controls the market but it is the only place where I see this with meat.

Best ground beef. Hardly any grease when cooking.
