Markus Community Market

Love this little grocery store. They carry lots of local goods, and lots of high quality food and drinks. Today I was pleasantly surprised to see huckleberries on display! (for those who don't want to pick their own) I often stop in here for a delicious quick bite from their prepared food section, or a bag of coffee from a local roastery. Or the Pop Daddy pretzels! This is also our go-to store when guests want to try local or regional beers--their selection is awesome.

I really want to like this market but the selection of some staples is really low. I wanted some sliced cheese and lunch meat to make sandwiches and they only had tiny packages of artisan salami and like 1 type of cheese. The prices are pretty high but the quality is commensurate. I'm just always disappointed that they don't have what I'm looking for. The breakfast sandwiches are fantastic!

This market has anything. And everything you need. Not the cheapest but that is to be expected. Their selection of drinks is second to none. I stood there 15 minutes trying to decide. If you like fun drinks…get your butt over there.

Marcus Grocery Store is a solid choice for fresh produce and specialty items. Their produce section is well-stocked with a great selection of fruits and vegetables, always looking fresh and well-maintained. However, the prices are a bit on the higher side, so it may not be the best option if you're shopping on a tight budget. One of the standout features is their craft beer and craft soft drink selection—they carry a variety of unique and hard-to-find options that you won’t see in most grocery stores. Whether you're looking for local brews or interesting small-batch sodas, they have something worth checking out. They also have a deli section, which is a nice convenience if you want something quick and freshly made. Overall, it’s a great little store with quality products, but expect to pay a bit more for the convenience and specialty selection.

Great location but by far the most expensive grocery in Whitefish. If you can drive to Super One you’ll save bucketloads of your money.

Great choice of quick bite foods from warm burritos/chicken sandwiches to cold sandwiches/ parfaits and little salad bowls. Can't forget the pleather of cookie selection.

Amazing staff and ownership! They are real people and that’s hard to find these days. Absolutely awesome experience working with the folks at Markus!

I was on food stamps for a time going through a terrible divorce with a my young child and grew up in Columbia Falls. The scrutiny from several very openly judgmental employees in the grocery line was unbearable. I didn’t really understand the details behind the card, and instead of just saying “this food isn’t covered” In a line of peop? Like hot food, this individual would slam it down and intentionally harass me for not affording those items. In front of many other community members. This person is STILL harassing others to this day and still hired. He makes a point to come to the front desk even when I check out- three times now has come from another department to “oversee” items I check out. I think this place is absolutely despicable and I am from here- with a bathroom full of making fun of profit from people we have to live on? Yes is funny, but the crude undertaking of bullying is apparent and I will lot support it anymore.

Overpriced just like everything in whitefish. But I love the people who work there and food. Local Discount?

Wow! The deli food is amazing! The Italian club is one of the best I've had! The sandwich was so fresh, so delicious and everyone there was so nice! I can't wait to try the other sandwiches! Great place to grab a wholesome sandwich or meal! I would definitely recommend Markus and their terrific deli! Hats off to the deli team!
